Henry prides himself with his mastery in all things manipulation. He is highly skilled in geokinesis(controling earth at will), geo-thermokinesis(controling/creating lava, magma, and volcanoes), and hyalokinesis(the manipulation of glass), terrakinesis(reshaping surrounding terrain and landscape). His hidden gem is his ability to create golems from earthy materials. His fellow elementals are loyal clan members, but sometimes it is just so much easier to give orders to beings that have the sole purpose to serve.

To describe Henry in one word is easy: serious. He has always felt the pressure of the society and the world around him and he takes it in stride. Henry is serious about continuing his parents legacy in leading their clan, he is serious about protecting the few people who have earned a special place in his heart as well as the elementals placed under his guidance, and he is deathly serious about keeping the earth safe from the mindless humans destroying the planets limited resources.
In a way, this could imply a second word: selfless. Having tremendous responsibility placed on his shoulders from a young age, Henry rarely has time to think of himself. He will run himself ragged to achieve the goals he sets that will make the world a better place for those living in it, even though he doesn’t believe most of them deserve the gift that Earth truly is.

⋊Background⋉

Born in a remote commune in the Adirondack Mountains, Henry was thrust into a life full of duty from the moment he was able to form coherent sentences. He was the son of Amelia Fletcher, leader of the North American Earth Elementals, and her second in command, Eric Jordan. This made young Henry a prince of sorts, but only in the sense that he would be the future leader of the clan. Early on, he was immersed into rigorous training, being given lessons in trade, politics, geography, and so on. He was taught the theory of his elemental abilities before they even emerged, and there was no doubt that he would side with the earth; there was no room for doubt. It was believed that his nearly excessive exposure to the element was what caused his abilities to emerge at the earliest age the clan had ever witnessed.
The arrival of his powers only increased his involvement in his society. Even though his mother insisted upon his rise among the ranks, it was not done without merit. He was devoted and obedient, strong and efficient, and he took on every task as if it were his life’s purpose to succeed in his mission.
Henry’s seeming lack of a childhood may have seemed unfortunate to some, but was truly a blessing to the clan. When Henry was 17, Amelia was had been knocked unconscious when trying to stop a massive rock slide created by a blast from a Canadian mining company. As strong as the woman was, she was knocked unconscious and swept away by the wreckage, destroyed by her own element. Upon hearing the news about his leader, Eric left the clan in distress, and was never heard from since. To this day, he was seen as a failure. His son, however, was not. He rose to the challenge of becoming the earth elementals leader, he helped his people through the void left behind by his parents, allowing them to overcome their loss and continue on with their duty with renewed strength.
