Aussie Readers discussion

I'm starting this thread so I can list books I'm planning to bring to the next Meet/Swap.

Venue and date are not decided yet: we might go to Gosford so Brenda next time doesn't have to travel so far, but we will definitely have another one in the city too.

What I am going to do here is list the books I plan to bring (if someone wants them). You should post that you want a book that I've listed if:
1. you have a book to swap (or more than one). AND
2. you intend to come to a Meet/Swap OR
3. you plan to come to the Illawarra so we can meet up and swap closer to where I live...

If no one expresses an interest, I will take the books to Vinnies (or maybe sell them on Fishpond).
Most books won't be new, unless I got them from the publisher to review, in which case I'll mark them (N) and they might be uncorrected proof copies. If someone has bagsed the book, I'll put their name after it.

And if anyone else wants to post books they are prepared to bring, go for it!

Nuh uh, has to go on the train with me and I want a seat! Unless someone wants to come down to Thirroul to help me lug books. And then they have to be quiet on the train so I can read... ;)

I have a bagged heap to go to "somewhere" in the garage that I'll have to dig out and list. They're mostly Mary Higgins Clark :)

I am going to add new books to the top of my list so they will be more obvious, unless they are earmarked for someone, then they will be at the bottom with the person's name.

Sounds nice. I will have a chat with DH and see if we can work something out. I can't drive that far to thirroul due to back problems and though train runs from bomaderry I wouldn't catch it on my own. Leave it with me and I will see what I can do. But it's lovely to know people would like to meet me.

Of course, we don't even know when yet, but it would be great if you could make it somehow!
