|Description|
Pelt- Flamegaze's pelt is a dark rusty red color, with blacks and browns smeared into it. The pelt is not abnormally long by any means, but it is also not as short as most short-haired cats' pelts are. She has a bit of white mixed into her fur on her chest and underbelly. Her whiskers are long and white.
Eyes- Flamegaze's eyes are a misty blue, clouded by her blindness. They are more rounded than other cats', mostly because of her quirk to keep them wide and open, as if she's not scared to show others that she is blind.
Body Structure- Flamegaze is smaller than most cats, due to her status as a runt. When she was born, most of her legs were turned inside out, making it impossible for her to stand and walk, so for the first three moons of her life, she had to pull herself along the ground and wasn't able to play with the other kits. She eventually grew out of it, with the help of the medicine cat of course, though her legs remained short. She is skinny, never seeming to be able to put on any weight. She is weaker than most in her clan, but can definitely hold her own in a battle, due to her warrior training.
Distinctive Marks- None exactly, but she is blind.
Scars- She has a small pink scar, mostly hidden by fur now, on her forehead from when she leapt into a tree her first day as an apprentice, trying to catch a mouse.
{Personality}
Flamepaw is a bit of an odd cat. She is usually very quiet, so her personality can be a bit of a mystery to other cats. She has never been very talkative, a result from the shy side of her personality, most believed. But the root of her silence is actually due to the hardship she has endured, finding that most of what cats say is unnecessary and shouldn't be spoken about at all. After all, who would care about what her favorite fresh-kill is, or what's she did the day before. Flamepaw is also exceptionally clusmy. She has a hard time walking in a straight line, jumping up onto or down from things, and running places. This is mostly due to her blindness, seeing as she can't see anything, but she is also just a clumsy cat. Even with the help of her nose and ears, she has a hard time not falling or stumbling.
As a dual side to her personality, Flamepaw can also be quite grumpy and stubborn. She has developed a hard shell for her exterior, determined to never let anyone see her weaknesses. This would be a result of the bullying she endured her older kit moons and younger apprentice moons. She was born a runt, deformed, ugly--who would ever want to be kind to her? This part of Flamepaw can make her mean or rude should someone speak to or approach her when she does not want to be spoken to or approached. She tends to make these times clear, sitting by herself, hunching over to create closed body language, or simply memorizing the scent of each herb in the storage again. The only cat who has been able to push past her harsh side is her mentor. She shares a special bond with her mentor, and always seems to have a smile on her face when working with him/her.
The part of her personality that most cats do not know about Flamepaw, except maybe her littermates or mentor, would be her enhanced senses. Now, it's nothing special, not like superpowers or some other ability like that. Since Flamepaw is blind, and has been since birth, her other senses have become more developed and better than most in the Clans. She can hear things before most cats can, and has an easier time smelling injuries, blood, or pain from another cat. This helps a lot in her ability to be a medicine cat, able to find the small injuries that her mentor may not be able to find. She can even sense certain emotions from other cats, including sadness, anger, or sheer happiness. The reason for these specific emotions is that they send out such strong waves, along with a slight scent, just as dogs can smell fear.
{Strengths} Her enhanced senses, her ability to be quiet and to get cats' attention when she does speak or even yell.
{Weaknesses} Her blindness and clumsiness. It makes for a pretty helpless warrior.
{Fears} Being driven from the Clan for being seemingly helpless.
{Quirks}
Memorizing scents of herbs over and over again.
Etching claw marks in the dirt or in rocks or branches when she's itching to say something or in a bad mood.
{Goals} To prove that a blind cat can be useful and helpful.
{Background}
Flamekit was born in the middle of a hot green-leaf day, when the sun was burning the brightest. Three kits came before her; Silverkit, Lionkit, and Graykit. Flamekit was born last, and she was born a runt, due to her siblings receiving more nutrients than her in the womb. It was predicted that Flamekit would only live to barely a moon, seeing as her legs were gruesomely twisted and she was unable to walk. It also took her twice as long as most kits to open her eyes. She was small and weak, hardly able to suckle from her mother. And when she reached a moon and a day, stretching open her clouded blue eyes, the medicine cat declared it the will of StarClan that she lived, nothing else.
She had been named Flamekit, for the bright sun that shone through the nursery on that day, reflecting off the orange fur she'd received from her father Redclaw. Her brother Lionkit received the same color pelt, while her sister Silverkit and brother Graykit took on the silvery gray pelt from their mother Cloudbreeze. It would be Cloudbreeze that Flamegaze would hate the most in her lifetime, due to the cruelty her mother showed her.
It took four moons for Flamekit's legs to untwist. It was a painful process for the young kit, with the medicine cat only able to help her every now and then. The medicine cat said that she would need to work for herself if she ever wanted to be strong, and that she could only receive a few poppyseeds to help the pain subside. Cloudbreeze hadn't really paid attention to her helpless daughter, being near her only to let her suckle. Flamekit figured that if she could get her legs able to walk, her mother would grow to love her. But it was when Flamekit was declared blind that Cloudbreeze truly lost it.
"What do you mean, she's blind?!" Cloudbreeze shrieked, her own blue eyes wide with both anger and shame. Flamekit could hear her mother standing with the medicine cat as she, herself, sat under her father's chest.
"She will never be able to see. This often happens with runts. It is a defect, along with her twisted legs. Though I'm afraid there is no possibility of growing this one out like she is working to do with her legs." the medicine at meowed calmly.
A defect...I am nothing but a defect... Flamekit thought to herself. She could hear her mother wailing and could feel the anger radiating off of her. Her father was saying comforting words to soothe his mate's pain, but Flamekit didn't want to listen to any of it. Everyone in the Clan would think she was nothing but a problem. It would be better if she'd simply died a moon earlier, like it was predicted.
It was later that day that Cloudbreeze crept from camp with Flamekit in her jaws. Of course, Flamekit had no idea where her mother was taking her, until she could hear the lapping of lake water at the shore. It dawned on her then that her mother was planning to drown her, to murder her and be rid of the pain she had caused her mother. And Flamekit would have drowned if Redclaw hadn't followed his mate out of suspicion. He wrestled Flamekit out of her jaws, roaring angrily and demanding how she could ever try to drown her own kit. Cloudbreeze responded with a harsh hiss, saying that such a deformed and defected offspring could never have come from her. Redclaw never spoke to his mate after that, taking Flamekit himself to care for. What had happened was never spoken of, and it is a secret that Flamegaze carries with her to this day.
Flamekit was given her apprentice name the same time as her littermates, and declared to train as a warrior just as they did. No cat believed she could of course, but who were they to stop her before she tried? She was given a gentle mentor, but never seemed to make any progress anyways. She was often bullied by the other apprentices by their gloating and snickering that she would never be a great as they were. And Flamepaw seemed to have no one to turn to other than her father, which made the others laugh more. She'd never had much of a relationship with her littermates, seeing as she wasn't able to play with them when they were kits. But it was a day when the worse insults and bullying occurred that Silverpaw and Graypaw actually joined in the taunting, not wanting to be seen as weak for defending their sister. Lionpaw, on the other paw, stood up for his sister, declaring that she deserved as much of a chance to be a warrior as any other cat did, if not more for the hardships she'd had to work trough. And after that, Lionpaw took his sister hunting. He had already turned out much larger and stronger than her sister, though he seemed to have a soft spot only for her. He would help her train for the next few moons, patient and cheery, never letting any mistake of her's get either of them down.
The other apprentices continued to torment Flamepaw, though Silverpaw and Graypaw seemed to realize the horror they'd done by teasing their own sister. They never really spoke to her after that, but they also didn't make fun of her, which was all Flamepaw could ask.
A few moons later, there was a fox attack on the edge of WindClan territory, in which her father Redclaw was horribly injured. Flamepaw hovered around the medicine cat den for three days and nights, hoping and wishing to StarClan for her father's recovery. Though it was all in vain. Redclaw passed onto StarClan, though Flamepaw and her littermates were told it wasn't painful for the strong warrior. It was harder for Flamepaw than her littermates, as the three of them had Cloudbreeze to run to, but Flamepaw did not. She despised her mother, and would never go to her in weakness.

Flamepaw of WindClan, continued...
A few days after her father died, Flamepaw shared her decision to become a medicine cat apprentice with her brother Lionpaw first. He nodded, sad that she'd be leaving their den, but knowing it was likely the only way Flamepaw could truly help the Clan. She then requested the position to Featherstar and the medicine cat and a ceremony was held the day after. Flamepaw worked her hardest to be the best medicine cat she could, never wanting to lose anyone like she'd lost her father. She hardly felt anything at successes, but felt the losses harder than any cat else in the Clan, blaming herself for losing a cat's life. She has made much more progress as a medicine cat than she ever would have being a warrior, though she still carries a few battle moves and sharp claws to defend herself, should she ever need to.

::General::
Name: Maplenose
Age: 24 Moons
Gender: Tom
Location of Birth: WindClan Nursery
Time of Birth: Dusk
Season of Birth: Green-Leaf
Clan Specific
Clan: WindClan
Rank: Warrior
Mentored By: Bluesmoke (Deceased)
Apprentices: Silverpaw
Personality
General: Maplenose is one of the most loyal cats in all the Clans, he would do anything to protect his clan. This sense of loyalty is what drives him to do whatever is asked of him, sometimes to a fault. He doesn't quite know when to stop, meaning that he will work until he drops. Maplenose isn't a complainer, and will oftentimes work through sickness, pain, and fatigue with little more than a few winces or grunts to show his discomfort. This deep loyalty is partnered with a good-natured heart, and love for his clanmates. Although he's got a bit of a quick-temper when it comes to dealing with rival clans. The only time Maplenose doesn't seem to be himself is if a she-cat is around, besides his mother and his sister he is totally, and utterly lost around the she-cats.
Strengths: Maplenose's greatest strength is his strength. He's a large tom which gives him a great advantage over those he fights in battle. Another strength is his forethought, he really tries to make the best decision for the future not just the present.
Weaknesses: Maplenose sometimes struggles with hunting, he isn't the slimmest tom and sometimes has trouble gaining enough speed to chase after the rabbits on the moor. Perhaps a greater weakness is his anger, something that makes him do rash things in regards to other clans and enemies.
Goals: Long term, he'd love to become deputy and maybe even leader. Another goal, one he tries to hide, is his deep desire to have a family of his own: a mate and some kits would make him the happiest tom in the world.
Description

Eyes: Deep Amber
Pelt: A dark tabby pelt, with lighter brown patches turning to a golden shade.
Body Type: Large. He's a big tom, with broad shoulders and muscular build. Maplenose doesn't look like the average Windclan cat.
History
Kitted: Maplekit and his sister, Mousekit, were born in early green-leaf. Unfortunately their mother, Lilystep died while giving birth to the two kits. Luckily there was a queen who was able to spare some milk for the two kits. Steadystone, their father, spent as much time with them as possible, trying to make up for the lose of their mother.. They were never given enough alone time to ever get into much trouble. Maplekit was the more reasonable of the two kits, always thinking things through.
Apprenticed: Maplekit was apprenticed to Bluesmoke, an older tom. Maplepaw found hunting a bit of a challenge due to his large physique. He excelled at, and preferred, battle training to anything else. Maplepaw and Mousepaw became warriors together, Maplenose and Mousestep, respectively.
Young Life: As of yet, nothing exceptional has happened to Maplenose in his warriorhood. Well, that is, except for the death of Bluesmoke. Soon after he became a warrior, Bluesmoke moved to the elder's den and died a few moons later from greencough. Maplenose's desire to push himself really surged to forefront after Bluesmoke's death, it is his coping mechanism and a way to forget about losing his closest friend. He just recently received his first apprentice, Silverpaw, and is very excited to teach her all that he knows.

Season of Birth: Green-Leaf
Clan Specific
Clan: WindClan
Rank: Warrior
Mentored By: Darkstream

Personality
General: Mousestep is definitely an extrovert. She thrives when surrounded by fellow cats, and loves attention. Mousestep can be a bit of a flirt at times, especially if it means extra attention. Mousestep grew feeling like her parent's second kit, this lack of attention at a young age causes her to desire it now more than ever: she'll do most anything to get it. This need for attention is what causes her to sometimes to reckless or rash things: saying things she doesn't mean, or doing things she knows she shouldn't be. But when a cat actually gets to know Mousestep, beneath the attention-seeking exterior, she's a very intelligent she-cat with a lot to offer.
Strengths: Mousestep's greatest strength is also one of her greatest weaknesses: her size. The power behind her size comes with her ability to hunt rabbits, she's one of the fastest cats in the Clan. Her smaller physique also aids her in that enemies underestimate her strength, giving her a slight advantage on the battlefield.
Weaknesses: Her size is also a weakness however because it is harder for her in battle most of the time because her enemies are almost always larger than her. She's also got a bit of a reckless streak, causing her to get into trouble at times.
Description

Mousestep is a very small she-cat, especially when you compare her to her brother, Maplenose.
Eyes: Pale Greenish Yellow
Pelt: Thin. Light Brown Tabby with Darker Streaks
Body Type: Very Petite, Lithe. Wiry Muscles. Small Paws.

The one thing that Mousepaw could do better than her brother at was hunting, her lithe body and long legs made her a fast runner. Mousepaw and Maplepaw became warriors together, side-by-side.
Young Life: Mousestep couldn't be happier to be a warrior of WindClan. She hasn't had anything traumatizing or extremely exciting happen. She's stayed pretty close with Maplenose, helping him through the loss of his mentor, Bluesmoke.

Name: Lionpaw
Age: 12 Moons
Gender: Tom
Location of Birth: WindClan Nursery
Time of Birth: Sun-High
Season of Birth: Green-Leaf
Clan Specific
Clan: WindClan
Rank: Apprentice
Mentor: Ashscar
Personality
General: Lionpaw is a very playful tom, as a kit always loving to play with his littermates and any warrior who’d over up their tail as an enemy. Overall, Lionpaw is light-hearted, he doesn’t really have much of a dark side to him. The only thing that really gets him going, makes him angry, is when any cat mistreats his sister, Flamepaw or any cat for that matter. He is very compassionate and doesn’t see the point in making another cat feel horrible about themselves, no matter what clan they are in. But more than that, he’s just overly protective of Flamepaw, he’s gotten into a couple fights with his fellow apprentices over this. He’s always had a soft spot for Flamepaw, always making a point to visit with her whenever he has a spare moment. With his compassion and protectiveness comes a boldness, he has no fear when it comes to speaking his mind, standing up for what is right.
Strengths: Lionpaw is a big tom, which is probably his greatest physical strength. His size makes it easier for him in battles. His other strength, and perhaps the more important one, is his courage to stand up for what is right. This may not seem like a strength, but this has led to respect from his Clanmates and leads to a greater sense of confidence for Lionpaw.
Weaknesses: Flamepaw is Lionpaw’s greatest weakness. If anything were to happen to her, he’d lose it. If you want to make Lionpaw do something, just threaten that you’re going to hurt his sister.
Fears: His greatest fear is tied wit his weakness, he is so scared of losing Flamepaw.
Goals: Personally, his goals revolve around becoming a good warrior, helping his clan as much as he possibly can. But the goal he really strives for is helping Flamepaw be the best she can be, at whatever it is she’s trying to do. He knows that he’s not Flamepaw’s favorite cat, and that he might even get on her nerves at times, but that doesn’t stop him from trying to keep a close relationship with his sister.
Description

Eyes: Pale Yellow
Pelt: Thick, Long. Dark Orange/Ginger Pelt.
Body Type: Large, Muscular Build. With Broad Shoulders.
History
Kitted: Lionkit was born in the middle of a hot green-leaf day, when the sun was burning the brightest. He was the first of his litter to be born, and biggest kit by far. Lionkit shared his father, Redclaw’s pelt with his sister, Flamekit. Lionkit doesn’t really remember the early days, when Flamekit’s legs were really bad, but his kithood memories are filled with an always present hostility rolling off his mother whenever Flamekit was near. Lionkit spent most of his time playing with Graykit and Silverkit out in the clearing, but would sometimes saunter over to be there with Flamekit when the medicine cat would come to visit. He had a soft spot for his little sister, knowing that she’d need all the love she could get, but didn’t always know how to act around her. Lionkit doesn’t have a clear memory of the day Flamekit was declared blind, its kind of a blur due to all the emotions and events. He just knows that Redclaw started taking care of Flamekit, not letting Cloudbreeze anywhere near the she-kit. Lionkit, Silverkit, and Graykit stayed under the care of their mother, but Lionkit frequently spent time with Redclaw and Flamekit, not wanting to miss out on either of those relationships.
Apprenticed: Lionkit couldn’t have been happier to have all his littermates by his side at their apprentice ceremony, wriggling with excitement when he was first called Lionpaw. Lionpaw’s training moved along much faster than Flamepaw’s, he rarely got to spend time with her due to the slower pace she had to go at. The day their relationship took a turn for the better will always be crystal clear in Lionpaw’s mind. It was a typical morning, and the other apprentices were teasing Flamepaw as they usually did. Up to that point, Lionpaw had stayed silent, unsure what he could say. However, today the taunting was especially harsh and then his other littermates joined in. This put him over the edge. He jumped to Flamepaw’s defense, his claws unsheathed, his teeth bared in anger. From that day forward, Lionpaw spent all his spare time helping Flamepaw with her training. Through this time, Lionpaw came to really appreciate who Flamepaw was as a cat, no matter that she couldn’t see or her legs weren’t as strong or straight as most cats were.
Redclaw died in a fox attack one day, the worst day of Lionpaw’s life to date. His relationship with Cloudbreeze was nonexistent, but he’d gotten pretty close to his father throughout his apprenticeship. He sat vigil with his pelt pressed to Flamepaw. And a few days later, Flamepaw told him about her decision to become the medicine cat apprentice. Although he was devastated by the news, he supported her full-heartedly. Lionpaw still tries to visit her everyday in the medicine cats den. Flamepaw is the only family member Lionpaw is still close, he’s never been able to forget how Graypaw and Silverpaw taunted Flamepaw.

NAME// Silverkit»Silverpaw»Silvermist
AGE// 12 moons
GENDER// She-Cat
CLAN&RANK// WindClan Apprentice
MENTOR// Maplenose
FATHER// Redclaw, deceased.
MOTHER// Cloudbreeze, WindClan warrior [open: ask Arieya].
LITTERMATES//
Lionpaw, WindClan apprentice [JoJo].
Graypaw, WindClan apprentice [open: ask Arieya].
Flamepaw, WindClan med cat apprentice [Arieya].
CRUSH// None yet.
APPEARANCE// Silverpaw is a silver tabby cat, small and fluffy, as fluffy as when she was a young kit. The stripes across her back are jet-black, while the jagged small stripes are Thunderpath-grey. Her eyes are amber like her brother Lionpaw's, but brighter, seemingly more alert. Her underbelly has a coat of pure white that stops just around her mouth, though does not cover her muzzle.
PERSONALITY// Much of Silverpaw's personality comes from the influence of her mother, Cloudbreeze. From barely a few sunrises old, Cloudbreeze began to shape her into the kit she wanted: one who greatly honours strength, looks down on the weak, and would help form the Clan into something better. Her smug attitude comes from the adoring affection of her mother who shunned Flamepaw, causing strife between the two sisters as they each desperately wanted to gain the affection of the opposite parent. Before becoming an apprentice, Silverpaw developed the opinion of being special, despite StarClan having never sent a sign to say so, but she carried this feeling of being special and better than weakened cats like her sister. She is proud of herself, and what she feels she could do as a warrior, which contributes to a rather rude and bullying personality, where she puts other cats down for their faults, but her mother assures her that she has none of her own.
Despite this hard side of her crafted by her mother in retaliation for Redclaw's favouritism towards her sick sister, Silverpaw harbours a gentle side to her. She craves the affection of another cat who loves her, and will not ever see her as weak. She has an obsession with flowers - she finds them intriguing and beautiful, and the vibrant colours relax her, the smell soothing her worries. She particularly likes blossoms, daisies and roses.
STRENGTHS// Alert to danger; Intelligent and quick-thinking; Particularly good with agility, mostly her ability to leap long distances.
WEAKNESSES// Envy of others; Impatience; Insensitivity; Troublemaking.
GOALS// She wants to be respected by as many cats as possible, and seen as strong. She feels she may only gain this as a deputy, or leader, but secretly she is scared that her littermates and StarClan would reject her. Silverpaw mostly aspires to be truly loved by a mate, though it takes a powerful, ambitious cat for her to develop feelings for.
FEARS// Ultimately, she fears being weak, like her sister Flamepaw, which is why she even tries to brush away small failures like not catching one prey with her smug, hardened attitude. Her secondary fear is being alone, which is why she tries to show cats close to her her 'nice' side.
HISTORY// Silverkit was born to Cloudbreeze and Redclaw, the second youngest of a little of four. She was initially confused by her sister, Flamekit, who could not open her eyes as quick as her, who could scarcely walk for moons, and at her mother's insistence did not play or go near Flamekit for the first few moons of their life. She focused on Lionkit and Graykit, who could keep up with her and kept her entertained.
After Cloudbreeze tried to drown Flamekit, Silverkit felt much more loved. She did not know what her mother had tried to do, but her mother began to pay much more attention to her, whereas Redclaw spent most of the time with Flamekit. Jealous, Silverkit tried to flaunt the affection of her mother when Flamekit was nearby, mewling for Cloudbreeze and trying to show her mother new things she had discovered. As her mother's influence of weakness grew, Silverkit began to realise that she had almost been in Flamekit's position, how she could have been shunned so easily. Understanding this, she latched on to the comfort of her mother, doing anything to please and impress her.
When the four littermates became apprentices, Silverpaw began to notice other attitudes towards Flamepaw, and how other cats bullied her and treated her like dirt. She began to join in, finding it a release for her to get out the jealousy and hatred she had towards her sister. It was a while until she realised that she was being too harsh, turning on her sister like that, and ceased her verbal bullying of Flamepaw, but secretly mocked her behind her back when given the chance.
She began focusing more on her training, encouraging Mudwhisker, after the passing of his mate, to use as much of his time training her so that she could be a warrior more quickly, disregarding his mourning as nothing important to her. She kept her relationships with her brothers close, flashing the gentle side of her to keep their attention on her, but for the most part has been ignoring and neglecting Flamepaw. She almost prefers pretending that she has no sister.

AGE// 10 moons
GENDER// She-Cat
CLAN&RANK// WindClan apprentice

FATHER// Runningwing, WindClan warrior [open: ask Darkness].
MOTHER// Raintail, WindClan warrior [open: ask Darkness].
LITTERMATES//
Stormpaw, sister, WindClan apprentice [Darkness].
CRUSH// None
APPEARANCE// Much like her father, Runningwing, she has a soft grey pelt with silver-white paws. As if to match, her eyes are a golden amber that truly sets her apart from other cats with how it stands out compared to her fur.
PERSONALITY// Outgoing, Snowpaw seeks to be as kind as possible to fellow cats, especially those she deems vulnerable or lonely. She believes all cats who follow the warrior code should leave to StarClan with happy, fulfilled memories. Because of her gentle and nice nature, she is popular amongst her fellow apprentices, but fails to realise how they treat her sister, Stormpaw. She deeply loves Stormpaw and defends her when necessary, but is otherwise oblivious unless she witnesses any cruel tongues directed at her sister herself.
STRENGTHS// Agile; Quick; Compassionate; Hunting skills.
WEAKNESSES// Sympathy; Kindness in battle.
GOALS// She wishes to help her Clanmates flourish and achieve many happy memories.
FEARS// Losing her sister; Disappointing StarClan; Never finding her own happiness.
HISTORY// Born to Raintail and Runningwing, on a cloudy day in the WindClan nursery, Snowpaw quickly grew and matured with her littermate Stormpaw. She never wanted to let her down or leave her alone. As they passed through the moons, she learned to observe other cats, and began to learn how to interpret their feelings fairly accurately.
She lingered around the elders' den frequently, bringing them interesting finds like head-shaped leaves, notched twigs, and plenty of leftovers. Enjoying their delight at receiving gifts and attention, she saw that they were in pain due to their joints, old injuries and illnesses, and decided to attempt to cheer them up or at least distract them. When it was time to become an apprentice, she vowed to bring them bedding and food frequently - along with her sympathy and listening ear.

His small but wide eyes are a burnt amber, and usually narrowed as he often squints. In his right eye, there is a cloudiness in the inside of his iris, but he is not blind.
PERSONALITY// Foxkit is still learning and growing and forming his personality, but is a very cautious, playful young tom. He enjoys playing with his fellow kits and curling up in the warm nursery from sunup to sundown, and is usually more active at night, much to the disgruntlement of his mother. He enjoys talking and playing with other cats, and especially enjoys talking the other cats' ears off, but he can be an adequate listener. He cares for other cats, although he tries not to annoy and cling to them for too long. His energetic playfulness can occasionally get him into trouble, but his parents are sure that his energy will be a strength as an apprentice.
STRENGTHS// He is very compassionate, and cares about how other cats feel. His energy levels, which allow him to race circles around his mother every night, frustrate others trying to sleep, but he can spend hours running and jumping and playing. His true strength is his ability to see in the night time - while most cats can see well in the night, he feels that his vision in the dark is better, though without a way to compare he cannot be sure.
WEAKNESSES// Due to the cloudiness in his right eye, he, though he has not told anyone yet, cannot see as well in the day as he can at night. He is also rather small, as he was the runt of his litter, and clumsy on his feet during the day, which is most likely caused by his cloudy eye stopping him from seeing the depth of where he steps.
GOALS// To become an apprentice! As well as stop tripping over his own two paws every few heartbeats.
FEARS// Telling another cat about his problems with his eye, or being found out by a medicine cat, and being stopped from becoming an apprentice; losing his vision through the moons until he can no longer see.
HISTORY// Foxkit was born to his parents in the late newleaf, and was last to emerge. Small and mewling, he was desperate for strength, and his mother tried to ensure that he had plenty of milk to sustain him. He was named Foxkit for his fur, and the way his tail started off especially fluffy and red, until the white grew out. After his eyes opened, the cloudiness of his right eye was spotted, but after a few 'tests' it was concluded that he could see quite well, and was not blind in that eye. His parents were unsure of it, but he made good progress alongside his littermates, putting their minds at rest.
By three moons old, Foxkit had begun to show how energetic he was, and raced alongside his siblings eagerly, racing them, but always falling behind. He knew that he would never be as fast as his littermates, especially since he was prone to stumbling and falling whilst running, but he tried his hardest.
OTHER// His eye problem is based on Congenital Cataracts, but will not progress into blindness of his eye until he is well into his moons. He will struggle through his apprenticeship as best as he can with his issues, and eventually seek out help from his littermates [open] to overcome his weaknesses. He is also sensitive to the sun, which is the real reason that he feels that he can see better during the night.

APPEARANCE//
Her grey pelt and amber eyes clearly came from her mother, with seemingly no resemblance to her father other than her short yet sharp claws. She has large claw scars over her face, trailing between her ears and down between her eyes, a scarred pelt with short clumps where the fur struggled for many moons to grow back, and her front right paw is slightly crooked, the claws gnarled and broken, giving her a limp.
PERSONALITY// Ashscar's irritable personality earned her many jibes from her sisters that she was better suited as a ShadowClan cat, but originates from the attack from a dog when she was just a young apprentice. The attack cost her not only her attractive face, but also her stability - she has a tendency to shake, and finds it impossible to stay still, which hinders her hunting greatly. Along with her irritability came a harsh tongue that lashes at those who irritate her - one kit on the wrong day can send her into a foul mood until sundown. Ever since she lost her kits as a young queen, Ashscar has never looked at one the same, preferring to avoid and walk around the young ones so that she does not have to deal with one. Her aversion to kits is strong enough that, given the situation of saving herself or saving herself and a kit, she might just leave the kit behind.
STRENGTHS// Strength; Never gives up.
WEAKNESSES// Struggles to maintain crouches due to her shakiness; Connecting with other cats.
GOALS// Protect her sisters and the Clan at any cost.
FEARS// Losing more kits; Being attacked by another dog.
HISTORY// Ashkit was the first of her litter, born inside of the WindClan territory in the upper moorlands, far from camp, after her mother, Silverdapple, had tried to find, in panic, her elderly father who had gone missing. Instead, Silverdapple delivered her kits on the moorland, away from her Clanmates, in the pouring rain. Three kits followed Ashkit, and Silverdapple struggled to get them closer to camp, having to pick up each kit at a time, yowling for help unsuccessfully. Finding an abandoned rabbit warren, the keen mother brought her kits inside out of the rain, and curled around them. Without a medicine cat, she was weak and hardly able to feed the hungry four, but she persevered, spending the next two stormy days leaving her litter at small intervals so as to hunt and regain her strength.
Two sunrises passed, and on this third day rogues came across the faint scent of kits, hearing their tiny mewls for their mother. Hungry and hoping to weaken the Clans, the rogues snatched up the kits and ran towards the lake, hoping to lose their mother in the rain, but Silverdapple, her motherly instincts strong, chased after them the moment she discovered the warren empty. She arrived as one rogue dropped one of her unnamed kits into the lake, drowning him. Fortunately, a WindClan patrol looking for Silverdapple came across the band of rogues, and attacked, allowing Silverdapple to pick up Mothkit and her mate, Grasseye, who had joined the patrol, picked up both Pinekit and Ashkit, unable to retrieve the body of the posthumously named Wetkit.
With the help of the medicine cat, the three kits survived despite being frozen from the rain and panicked by the excitement. Ashkit was named for her ash-grey pelt, Pinekit for her brown tabby fur, and Mothkit for her moth-like grey fur. The three sisters grew quickly, contracting whitecough three times in their first six moons, but each time conquered the infection until they became apprentices.
Apprenticed to Grasseye, Ashpaw eagerly tried to learn everything that she could about being a warrior, encouraged by her dreams about Wetkit, though her nightmares were filled with faceless rogues due to the tales she heard from the elders. After training hard, the 9-moon-old Ashpaw accompanied her father on a WindClan patrol one sunup, and were confronted with a loose dog. It attacked the patrol of cats, maiming Grasseye's tail and giving him his later name of Stumpytail, while Ashpaw was mauled.
Training delayed as she spent moon after moon in the medicine cat den, recuperating from her injuries, she watched as her sisters became warriors: Mothstrike and Pinedust, WindClan warriors, able to train their own apprentices, to attend Gatherings.. while Ashpaw sat and watched from the sidelines, envious and boiling with resentment, though put on a brave face when her sisters visited her and tried to support the trauma she had survived.
At last, she was able to leave and begin her training once more, though it was clear that both she and her father had changed. They argued, yowling at one another, and fought viciously, until he declared her ready to become a warrior, and ready to defend herself against the next dog who dared enter WindClan territory. She was named Ashscar, after the scars she had endured to survive in the harshness of life.
Due to the delay of her apprenticeship, she was 19 moons old by the time she sat her vigil, and she, glad to have recovered, began to immerse herself in Clan life. A fellow warrior by the name of Dapplenose began to show her how to enjoy it, spending nights with her, curling around her during the cold leafbare. They mated, when she was 24 moons old, and he 30 moons old, but she lost the litter close to the end, sending her back into the gloom she had lurked in after the dog attack. Dapplenose was confused by her harshness towards him, and moved on to another cat, only to pass away to an infected paw five moons after.
Ashscar was left a miserable, ageing cat who ate, trained her apprentice, and slept, going through the motions of Clan life until her sister, Mothstrike, announced that she was expecting kits. They shared the secret of Mothstrike's litter's father with Pinedust, and the sisters bonded once again, closely knit with their paths entwined together. Ashscar vowed to protect her littermates and Mothstrike's kits no matter what happened.

Apprenticed to Goldenpelt, Mothpaw struggled to separate her life from that of her sisters', used to doing everything with them, but Goldenpelt assured her that it would be easier if they were not as close. Mothpaw sulkily agreed to focus on her training over staying close with her littermates, and refrained from sharing too much with them. In that time, she bonded with a fellow apprentice, Heatherpaw, who was less than pleased with Goldenpelt's advice.
When Ashpaw and Grasseye were struck down by a dog attack, Mothpaw fretted for her kin, curling up between her father and sister in the medicine cat den for the first two nights, but Goldenpelt forbade her to continue, telling her that it was important that she trained in case the dog returned. Grasseye and Heatherpaw agreed, wanting her to protect herself.
At the age of 13 moons, Mothpaw earned her name of Mothstrike, for her furious claws and strength, while her sister Pinepaw became Pinedust. General: Darkstream is a puzzling she-cat. On the one paw, she’s got it altogether. She’s got the loyal, loving mate and the beginnings of a beautiful family. She’s devoted to raising her kits right, to keeping her mate happy. Darkstream has great maternal instincts, her protectiveness of her kits sometimes a bit too much. She’s a loyal WindClan warrior, always going above and beyond the call of duty. Oftentimes, staying out on the moor after the rest of her hunting patrol has already headed in for the day. Her devotion to her mate, kits and clan something to be admired.
But on the other paw, she’s a bit of a mess. Darkstream’s never quite learned how to healthily deal with the darker side of the emotion spectrum. Whenever she’s thrown into a situation filled with grief, anger, or fright she doesn’t know how to handle herself. Darkstream pulls away, becoming quiet, reserved and standoffish. This is when she’ll turn to other outlets to take her mind off things. She wouldn’t do anything to hurt her mate, yet she’s not afraid to be a bit of a tease. For a while there were rumors that her mate wasn’t the father of her kits, although she’s positive he is.
Strengths: Darkstream is very good at keeping secrets, both her own and others. She keeps not only actions, but also emotions a secret. She is not a fan of showing any pain or fear, so she makes sure to deal with those emotions on her own, if at all.
Weaknesses: Darkstream is a bit needy when it comes to attention, especially from toms. She would never do anything with anybody but her mate, but she sometimes can’t help but flirt a little. So in other words, toms are her weakness or even she-cats for that matter if they want to give her attention. If you say the right things, you’ll have Darkstream wrapped around your paw no problem.
Fears: Darkstream is very worried, and frightened, by what might become of Foxkit. She’s very good at hiding this fear, seeing as Foxkit seems to be able to keep up with his siblings, but she still has nightmares about him going blind or losing his way.
Goals: Darkstream’s only goal at the moment is to raise her kits to be healthy, loyal WindClan cats. She’d prefer if all her kits padded down the path of a warrior, but she’d be just as supportive if one of them decided to become a medicine cat.
Description

Eyes: Amber Eyes
Pelt: Darkstream has a tortoiseshell pelt, a bit on the longer side for a WindClan cat.
Body Type: Darkstream’s long pelt makes her seem larger than she is, so most cats think she’s a large she-cat. But underneath all that fur is a small, narrow frame.
History
Kitted: Darkkit was the only kit in her litter, a bit of a disappointment to her parents. They had envisioned having a large family, not a family of three. They had been trying for some time to have kits, Darkkit somewhat of a miracle. By the time they had her, they were too old to try for another litter. But, this disappointment was quickly pushed aside as they made sure to mold Darkkit into the best WindClan cat possible. Darkkit was either being taught how to be polite, how to act like a queen by her mother, Yellowtail in the nursery or out in the clearing learning the hunter’s crouch a battle move with her father, Deerstep. Darkkit grew up knowing she was loved, always the center of attention.
Apprenticed: Darkkit couldn’t sleep the night before her apprentice ceremony, bouncing as her clanmates called out her new name: Darkpaw. She was apprenticed to Bluesmoke, a fairly young warrior at the time. She had a good head start in hunting and battle moves thanks to her father’s lessons, so her training moved along fairly quickly. Darkpaw knew her parents were getting old, so she pushed herself as hard as she could so she’d be able to spend some time with them as a warrior while they themselves were still warriors. Darkpaw passed her warrior assessment with Bluesmoke proudly looking on.
Young Life: Darkpaw’s chest puffed with pride as she received her warrior name: Darkstream. The name signifying her favorite hunting spot: the stream that was used as a border between ThunderClan and WindClan. She spent that night sitting vigil, her excitement keeping her wide awake. Unfortunately, her parents were to that age where moving to the elder’s den was the only option. But before doing this, the three cats went on a couple hunting patrols together. Darkstream wasn’t too upset, it wasn’t like her parents had died they were just getting older. Around this time she started getting closer to _____. Both of them had received apprentices, Darkstream mentoring Mousepaw(step). They oftentimes trained together. The two cats were delighted when they realized that Darkstream was pregnant, Mousepaw’s final assessment taking place shortly before Darkstream needed to make the move to the nursery. Sadly, both Deerstep and Yellowtail died a few moons before Darkstream gave birth to her first litter, but she knows that they’re looking down on her kits with love and pride.

General: Darkstream is a puzzling she-cat. On the one paw, she’s got it altogether. She’s got the loyal, loving mate and the beginnings of a beautiful family. PERSONALITY: Unlike most toms, he feels, Heatherleap is very calm and collected, and prides himself on his ability to be calm in even the most stressful of situations. He is incredibly protective of Mothstrike and her sisters, though does not get along with Ashscar, and adores the kits in the nursery - given the chance, he would spend sunrise upon sunrise playing with the WindClan kits, and cannot wait to have his own. He is very quick-spoken and cunning, and was briefly in the running to be made deputy.

WEAKNESSES: Finds it difficult to show emotions; Lacks the will to fight other cats.
GOALS: To protect Mothstrike no matter what; To be a good role model.
FEARS: Losing Mothstrike; Letting his apprentice down.
HISTORY: Seuss, Heatherkit's father, met a WindClan warrior by the outskirts of the Twolegplace. They quickly fell in love, and a few moons later she revealed that she was expecting his kits. After queening, she snuck the lone tom to see Seuss, who adored him at once and wanted to take him to his Twolegs. Bluenose refused, and returned to her camp. The next time she saw Seuss, she left Heatherkit behind with Silverdapple and her kits. She never returned.
Heatherkit grew up without his mother, looked after by another queen, and never spoke of his mother until Mothpaw one day told him that her mentor had suggested that she separate herself from her littermates. This reminder of kin pushed him towards finding out what had happened to his mother, and he eventually asked the elders who his father was, hoping that it would lead him to answers. They admitted that his father was a white kittypet called Seuss.
It took a moon of walking around Twolegplace alone, not wanting to risk another cat putting themselves in danger, until he found Seuss, who immediately recognised his son by the streaks on his pelt. Seuss greeted him cheerily, but his happy demeanour vanished when asked what had happened to Bluenose.
"She came to visit me.. I tried to warn her.. They were behind her, and grabbed her! I haven't seen her since."
"Who grabbed her?"
"The Catchers."
Hearing of these strange Catchers, Heatherpaw was terrified, and pressed for more information, but Seuss could only answer that they picked strays up and took them away in dark cages, and the cats were usually never seen again. Troubled, Heatherpaw thanked him, and told him that he would visit him again one day, but his loyalty was to his Clan first of all. His father agreed, pleased with his responsibilities, and allowed him to go, while confessing that he still wished Heatherpaw had been able to stay with his Twolegs.
Heatherpaw grew close to Mothpaw over this time, and she became a warrior two moon before him: Mothstrike and Heatherleap eagerly planned to have kits as quickly as possible so that they could have their kin as their apprentices, but Mothstrike failed to get pregnant time and time again. Heatherleap set his attention on training apprentices, and pressed for the leader to keep sending him kits to train up - it kept his mind off of his fear that he and Mothstrike would never have their own kits, and it kept him busy and helpful to his Clan.

Name: Crowkit
Age: 4 Moons
Gender: Tom
Location of Birth: WindClan Nursery
Season of Birth: Late New-Leaf
Clan Specific
Clan: WindClan
Rank: Kit
Mentor: None Yet
Apprentices: None Yet
Personality
General: Crowkit is a sneaky little tom. He loves to listen on conversation he shouldn’t be privy to, or going places he’s not allowed. So far, he’s had the luck of not getting caught, something he brags about to his littermates. But with this illegally gained knowledge comes the responsibility of keeping unknown, a responsibility he has yet to carry out. Whatever he hears or sees, he immediately spills to Foxkit and his other littermates. Crowkit is a very ambitious kit, always wanting to be the best at whatever is being done.
Strengths: Crowkit is very observant, one of the reasons he has so many secrets to tell. Because of his dark pelt he blends into the shadows, making it that much easier for him to be an unknown observer of things. So in other words, he’s a fantastic eavesdropper or spy. He’s a big kit, but it’s unknown so far whether or not his size will aid or hinder him as a warrior.
Weaknesses: Crowkit, much like a crow, doesn’t know when to shut up. He’s not like his brother, Foxkit, where he talks nonstop. He just hasn’t quite figured out yet what information should be kept to oneself. The ability to keep a secret is not a trait he inherited from his mother. Crowkit has a big mouth, so don’t tell him any of your secrets. But, he is trying to work on this.
Fears: Crowkit, even though his name would suggest otherwise, has an odd fear of crows-- really big birds in general. Nothing traumatic has happened like a littermate being taken away by an eagle, but the sound that crows make just sends him to a dark place. Other than this irrational fear, he’s afraid of failing. Crowkit wants to make his parents proud, and wouldn’t be able to deal with them being disappointed in him.
Goals: Crowkit has big goals on his to-do list. Of course, his most important goal at the moment is to become an apprentice. But after that, he dreams of becoming the leader of WindClan. He just loves the way that Crowstar flows off the tongue.
Description

Eyes: Grey Eyes
Pelt: Crowkit has a dark grey pelt, its length matching that of his mother’s: a bit on the longer side. He has a white chest, and his two front paws are also white.
Body Type: He’s still a kit, but right now he’s a large kit with big paws.
Scars: No scars yet
History
Kitted: Crowkit was born in late new-leaf, the first of the litter to enter this world. He was by far the biggest kit, compared to Foxkit he looked like he should be in the apprentice den. Instantly he began mewling, loudly and shrilly, reminding his parents of the caw of a crow-- therefore, he was named Crowkit. Other than the issues with Foxkit, who now is just like any other kit, Crowkit’s life so far has been pretty great.

Time of Birth: Unknown
Season of Birth: Leaf-Fall
Clan Specific
Clan: WindClan
Rank: Warrior
Mentor: Reedflower (Deceased)
Past Apprentices: Featherstar (First Apprentice ), Galestorm (Second Apprentice)
Current Apprentice: Open
Personality
General: Steadystone is a fairly at ease tom. Nothing much gets to him, unless someone brings up his lack of Clan blood. He loves teaching, being a mentor, and loves being a father as well. At times he feels a bit of an outsider due to his upbringing, but tries to hide these feelings as much as possible. Steadystone is a very sweet, loyal tom who will do anything for his Clan and those he loves. He would love to find another mate and have some more kits: he misses the feeling of curling up beside Lilystep.
Strengths: Steadynose’s size his a great strength in battle, both as an intimidation factor and in regards to overpowering his opponent. He also has a great skill for teaching, and he loves doing it. If he could have an apprentice at all times he’d be on cloud-nine.
Weaknesses: Steadynose’s is a weakness when it comes to the typical hunting methods of WindClan, he is not a fast runner at all. Another weakness is his family history, other clans know of it, and when he’s taunted he has some trouble controlling his anger.
Fears: Steadystone has always had the irrational fear that he will be kicked out of WindClan due to his lack of WindClan blood. He is also scared of losing Mousestep and Maplenose, he loves his kits more than his loved anyone.
Goals: Steadystone has always wanted to be deputy, but feels that since he wasn’t born in the Clan the chances of this goal being achieved are pretty slim.
Description

Eyes: Green
Pelt: Steadystone has a thick, long pelt. He has a black face, and a smoky grey body with other black markings.
Body Type: Steadystone is a very large tom. Broad shoulders, thick legs, and thick fur make him look like a giant compared to most of the other cats in his clan.
Distinctive Markings: Black Face
History
Kitted: Steadystone was found near the broken half-bridge, mewling like crazy for someone to find him. He seemed to be around three moons old when he was brought back to WindClan camp by the patrol that stumbled across. The Clan decided to keep him, a new queen at the time offering to take him in as one of her own. He was named Steadykit for his persistent, steady mewling that alerted the patrol to where he was. Steadykit has little memory of his time before WindClan, preferring to act as though he was born in the nursery. His kithood was alright, he had to deal with some minor teasing from fellow kits and the apprentices, along with some hostile glares from certain warriors and elders. But he didn’t let this stop him from his goal of becoming a WindClan warrior.
Apprenticed: Steadykit became Steadypaw when he was 6 moons old. He was apprenticed to Reedflower, a senior warrior who was almost ready to be moved to the elders den. The leader chose this pairing in hopes that Reedflower would make sure Steadypaw learned everything there was to know about clanlife. Steadypaw’s training went very well, his relationship with Reedflower almost more like an older sister and younger brother. Due to his size, he was one of the largest cats in WindClan, he has some trouble with his speed. He was often unable to catch up with the hares sprinting across the moor, so he focused more on learning to hunt birds and other creatures. However, Steadypaw’s size greatly aided him on the battlefield. Reedflower was no match for him even in the beginning, but Steadypaw made sure to never hurt her. As Steadypaw was getting closer and closer to his assessment, a new apprentice moved into the apprentie den: Lilypaw. She was a small she-cat, WindClan bred, beautiful and kind. He instantly fell for her, whenever she was around he couldn’t seem to make one paw go in front of the other. Luckily, Lilypaw wasn’t around when Steadypaw had his warrior assessment, passing it easily.
Young Life: Steadypaw became Steadystone that day, his green eyes sparkling with pride. He was a little disappointed he would no longer be sharing a den with Lilypaw, they had moved their nests in the apprentice den to be side-by-side, but he knew it wouldn’t be long before she joined him the warrior’s den. Steadystone watched as Reedflower’s health slowly began to deteriorate, her life eventually taken away by a bought of green-cough that leaf-bare. Steadystone sat all night with her, not wanting to say good-bye to his closest friend.
Shortly after, Steadystone received his first apprentice: Featherpaw. He was a natural teacher, and loved showing her everything he knew. The day of Lilypaw’s warrior ceremony was one of great excitement for Steadystone he couldn’t wait to share a life with her. Steadystone and Lilystep spent as much time together as possible, so it was no surprise to the clan when Lilystep made the move to the nursery a few moons later. Steadystone couldn’t have been more excited, or nervous, about the impending birth of his kits, but he still had to make sure to teach Featherpaw everything he knew. A couple days before the birth of his kits he watched as Featherpaw became a warrior: Featherbreeze.
Sadly, Lilystep didn’t make it through to see their two beautiful kits. Steadystone named them: the she-kit Mousekit for the way her nose twitched just like a mouse, and the tom Maplekit for that was Lilystep’s favorite kind of tree. Steadystone spent all his spare time with the kits, wanting to make sure to have a strong relationship with them both.
When they became apprentices Steadystone watched with his chest puffed out with pride. He gained his second apprentice, Galepaw, around the same time. So he got to train with his kits, but made sure to let their mentors do the teaching. After all three cats, Galestorm, Mousestep, and Maplenose, became warriors Steadystone has begun a search for a new mate. He isn’t going out of his way to find one, but he would love to have some more kits.

(May supply picture instead of writing)
Eyes: Green
Pelt: She has a light-grey, soft pelt with dark grey flecks and spots across her body.
Body Type: Like her brother, she is lithe and skinny and scrawny. She has more muscle under her skin though for how much she runs.
Distinctive Markings: None, other than the spots.
Scars: She has a small one that is on her side from a battle.
::Personality::
General: Berryswipe is a bubbly cat with a heart of gold. However, she can be very opinionated and if you insult her Clanmates or brother, she is more than willing to fight. She has a tendency to be squeaky-voiced and loud, but she also can be serious when the situation calls for it.
Strengths: She is actually a very nimble and good warrior. She is also relatively quick on her feet and has acute hearing.
Weaknesses: She can be very emotional, which affects her fighting technique. She also tends to be lenient towards her brother, which makes cats question her loyalty towards her Clan.
::History::
Berryswipe was the daughter of Sandfur, a WindClan tom and Hollytail, a RiverClan she-cat. The two had a brief affair, but that lead to the birth of Berrykit and Weaselkit. Both parents claimed ownership of the kits and neither were willing to give them up. So, the two Clans broke out into war over who got custody over the kits... but it was finally settled that the both parents could have their pick. Berrykit got selected by Sandfur and Weaselpelt to RiverClan.
Unlike her brother however, she is willing to acknowledge the fact that they are kin and likes to try and be friends with him as best as she can during Gatherings. He is not willing to return the same sentiment, however he does not hate her. Her goal in life is to hopefully find a way to make a bond with her brother without her Clanmates, or him, getting mad at her.
