Ok, so I originally had Gone With The Wind selected for week 1...but that just wasn't happening. I had read about 10% and no matter what I would do, I just couldn't get into it. So I decided to shelve it again and try again later. Well, I figured what better book to add to my list than the one that was just released YESTERDAY!!! and I bought it after work. Now I've read some pretty awful reviews about this book already. Some about how people couldn't even make it past chapter 2! So although I was super excited about this book...I didn't really set my sights too high. But let me tell you, I'm about 20% done with the book so far and OMG is all I can say. it is fantastic, and definitely better than the first book. I am eager to see how a couple of the scenes go from Christian's point of view!

I just finished this book and all I can say is anyone that has read the trilogy definitely needs to pick this book up and read it! it was absolutely fantastic. It gives you more of an insight to Christian's childhood and a little bit of the relationship with the elusive "Mrs. Robinson" lol
I've just picked up this book too and after struggling to read my 500 page book or more (Sophie's Choice), I'm going to read it for this week too. Otherwise I can always slip it into the colour week which I haven't done yet either - but I think that will be easier to fill. I'm about 100 pages in and enjoying it so far. I agree it's better than the first one.
