L.E. Modesitt Jr. discussion

I've had a copy of The Green Progression on my shelf for years, but never got around to reading it. I don't know why, but I'm glad I finally corrected that. It's the only novel of his that isn't SF or fantasy that I'm aware of. It's not full of action, but is a mystery-espionage novel that gave me a fantastic look at Washington DC & the incredibly complex issues surrounding EPA regulations. I gave it 5 stars here:

In his forum page, I asked him how much of this story actually happened. He said that, other than the murder, a great deal of the book actually took place.
