History: Kaedric has lived with his divorced parents all his life, spending weeks with his mother and weekends with his father. They all live in Lectra, the Electric Country, and when he was 11 years old he was sent to the Academy to improve his powers of electricity. He spends his summers at home, and there he has his cat - Smuckers (named after the jelly, of course).

Personality: Kaedric is dyslexic, but he doesn't let that stop him from doing his best. He's fun to be around, loves adventure, but hates dogs and heights - and especially water. He's always kept his head up even though his parents are divorced, and he keeps a smile on his face even on rainy days.

Paige began her life as an only child. She rarely
saw her mother, since she was always busy at work.
Her mother would come home when Paige was asleep
and go to work when she awoke. Paige always wanted to
bond with her mother more, but couldn't because she was
never home. When Paige was eleven years old, her younger
brother Hugo was born. He was a big brat, even if Paige was
always so kind and helped him. He didn't care if he never saw
his own mother, which would break Paige's heart. Up to today,
she rarely sees her mother. But as always, she tries to make the
best of it. At least she has a mother at all. Not everyone does. She
appreciates that she's even alive. After that, she ended up going to the
Elements Academy, which she enjoys.




Paige is very positive. She always thinks of the positives,

History: Melody lives with her father in the Air Country Ventis, on a windmill farm. They have hundreds of windmills, producing winds and electricity throughout the country. Every citizen does his or her little part, but Mr. Avenell is the biggest of them all. Melody is an only child, and the only woman in her father's life - until only a few weeks before Melody left for school at the Element Academy for her Sixth Year. She found her father had started dating a younger woman, not much younger but young and pretty and just rotten enough for Mel to hate her. She knew what the woman was after - her father's money. And Melody is determined to keep her dirty hands off.

Personality: Mel is sweet and loves to laugh. She loves being around animals, which often sends her to the Pet Daycare Office and the Adoption Center on weekends. But if anyone mentions anything about her father, she becomes quiet and brooding, deep in thought and thinking about that rotten woman.

History: Georgie lives with her parents and her younger brother in the Terra country, where she has lived ever since she was born. Life was fairly normal until the Academy, that is if you thought counting the days until she could go 'fairly normal'. Ever since her oldest brother went, she had been itching to go, too. In her first year she nearly set the Pet Daycare's dogs on the gardens, and broke a couple of pots, but mainly learned a lot and made friends from other countries. Her family is always at war with the Sorias', and so, naturally, she and Natalie Sorias are bitter enemies.

Personality: Georgie is a happy twelve-year-old, loves to garden and get her hands in the soil, and is virtually unmovable when she's in the gardens at the far end of the school. She and Natalie Sorias are mortal enemies, though, and people are advised to stay out of their way when they are shooting insults back and forth. Georgie and her mother are both vegetarian, ever since Georgie saw a terrible farm with cows that couldn't turn around all stuffed into little fenced in areas, and told her mother about it.

History: Charlie is an only child who had lived with his parents his entire life. Well, if you could call that living with them. Before the Academy, his parents hardly were ever home, creating a brooding and quiet child, with no one to talk to and no parents available for comfort. When he was finally old enough to attend the Academy, he packed his bags and never came back. He spent his first few years' summers there hiding out in the school, spending the summers waiting for school to start again. He was determined not to go back. He would never go back. But, at the end of Year Three, he was found out (ratted out he strongly suspected) and told to 'git out or I'm callin' the cops, kid' and found a new hide out to spend the summers. This new place was considerably more comfortable, and allowed him to spend more time out and about, wandering the six different countries and nicking/forging passports to get from place to place.

Personality: Charlie isn't what one might call, "a fun kid to be around and hang out with", more like, "I'd stay out of his way, and just talk only when spoken to...which is never." He hardly talks, has no friends, and hasn't had any since he tried it in his First Year and made a complete fool of himself. He doesn't like to talk about it. People stay away from him, and he stays away from them, and that's how it's been for five years.

History:

Sunog is clad in armor that he molded himself. It is mostly iron but has some bronze. His armor follows the Roman stylus, but his helm has a Greek plumage.
He is also very tall (6'7") and his eyes are brown. Other than that, his flesh is a Filipino vaguely brown.


Personality: Sunog has delusions that he is the embodiment of destructive flame. To quote from him:
"Fire symbolizes a rebellion against the natural order. For millenia, humans saw that they were at the mercy of the rest of the world without fire. Fire gave them such a big advantage over the other animals on earth that multiple mythologies wrote stories of how fire was initially divine and we had to steal it, emphasizing a rebellion against the gods as we remade the natural world in our image with fire as our weapon. Fire is exerting dominance over the lesser elements. Fire is power."
Yeah. He talks like that. I've always wanted to try this sort of personality in a classroom setting. Imagine a bond villain in middle school.
"You see, John Jacobson, I have received a ninety-seven. The chances that you have anything higher are abysmally low- what!? A one hundred!? IMPOSSIBLE!"

Powers: Sunog possesses immunity to fire and the other fire powers we have established, except for the emotional ones. He doesn't have the mental discipline.

History: Sunog was born in Ignatia, taught all his life in the infallibility of fire.
"Fire does not stop. Fire burns through. If it cannot burn through, it burns around. Fire always finds a way."
With this on his mind and his own superiority assured, he thought that fire was the greatest, and he was the greatest. Therefore, he was fire. Nothing was discouraged from him, his physical strength terrified anyone from disillusioning him, since they were all immune to fire and power couldn't be used against him. Then he was sent here, and "cultural sensitivity" wasn't exactly his strong point. For seven years he has carried out his vendetta against the other tribes in what has led to suspensions and getting held back a grade.

Strongest Skill: Fighting, since really that's all he has to do, coordinating fire into his combat. He's also terrifying.

Weakest Skill: He can't seem to get along with others. He is almost completely unreasonable and hates water wielders with an insane passion. He sometimes manages to tolerate those with wind powers. His intolerance, paired with his superiority complex, makes him very predictable and very vulnerable, being alone with no one to help him.

History: Genni was born as the youngest of 6 children. Over time she was greatly ignored, partially the fault of her own. She would hid within the shadows daily, watching her family. Seeing if they would notice she was gone. They almost never did.

Eventually all her older siblings one by one moved out, leaving her alone with her parents most of the time. During these years she learned to develop her abilities to being able to fade into the shadows one body part at a time or have only one body part be visible. This was also the time she earned the nickname Cheshire as she used her little 'trick' to scare her neighborhood children. When she was 16 her parents thought it would be a good idea for her to go to the elements acadamey to learn about her powers more, which is a lie as they wanted her out of the house and had never really liked her as a child.

Personality: Genni or Cheshire is a very shy person. Getting to know her is more difficult that it would seem, most people know her from her scaring them or pulling a prank on a teacher. She is a fan of dark and creepy things. She is artistic and likes to paint horror scenes at random.

History:Jax was born as the middle child in the Mitchell family. He was always smirking or grinning his obnoxious smile, playing jokes and pranks, and he never cared about his powers or pretty much nothing but games. That all changed when his mother married a new man. Jax hated his step-father, and kinda still does. Everyday he tried to make his stepfather's life miserable, by doing absolutely stupid things, like putting peanut butter in his shoes or spraying bug spray in the living room, just what Jax knew would make his stepfather tick. But then one day, Jax had a extreme heartburn and was sent to the ICU. The only person who stayed up past 4 am to help take care of him was his stepfather. That changed everything in Jax's perceptive.
Personality: Jax is means good, but Jax can be a little devil, running around and making a bunch of trouble where ever he goes. Jax can be sweet, and is very lovable, despite his troublemaking. He might not seem like it a first, but Jax is actually very smart, and is fluent is French, Italian, Spanish, and German. Jax can always be incredibly awkward and shy. The more you get to know him, the more Jax will break out on you.

History: Justice is the youngest Mitchell triplet. She had always been the center of attention of her parents, even though she doesn't exactly fit the description of 'popular.' Everyone seemed to love her, and she seemed so perfect to the world. Justice hated that feeling of popularity. Justice, like her brothers, was a total rebel, and the older she got, the more she got tired of being the pretty girl everyone wanted to be. She dyed some of your hair blonde, and wore make-up to make her look older, and get the rebel feeling she loved. Justice suddenly seem to grow her bad side, and got used to tell people to back off, and became sly and clever.
Personality: Justice is a silly, sarcastic little girl. She's calm, and you'll almost never see her sad or angry. She can get sarcastic and competitive, but she won't go over the line to where people start hating her. History: Hawk is the eldest of the Bennett kids, and the one most tired of it. He's tired of being known as 'Raven's older brother', or 'Cardie and Robin's big brother', and not 'Hawk, the obvious best of the best.' He can't wait to be old enough to move out and away from his freak family. They've made his Academy years the worst of his life as it is, he doesn't want them ruining his life, too. He was always a different student as a child, striving to be the best he could be, and the top of the class. But not just sometimes, always. And, at the age of 13, when his sister, Raven, got into the Academy, his hunger for greatness only grew. As his siblings entered the school, he was driven to not only try, but be the best of the best, at all times. His original, friendly competition for top-of-the-class became a power-hunger that was only satisfied when there was no one else he could beat. This has caused one of his younger sisters, Birdie, to be terrified of him, even if he is completely unaware and uncaring of that.

Personality: Hawk is a power-hungry teenager. He's never really thought about what to do in the future, except get away from his freak family and start a nice, quiet, -but powerful!- life. He has considered coming back to teach at the Academy, but he immediately discarded that idea as being too 'boring and besides, Avis will be at the school for another six years'. So, he just counts the days until the end of his last year, and in the meantime kicks any kid's-who-wants-to-get-above-him's butts.

History: Raven Bennett was always different from her siblings. She never played like they did, and at a young age found out her powers were different from theirs. She was of the Dark element, unlike her parents and siblings. After some research, however, she found her grandmother on her mother's side was from the Shadow country, and moved with a young Mrs. Barnett to the Air country, where she eventually met Mr. Barnett and got married.

Personality: Raven used to go chasing after her older brother, asking to play with him and wanting to be his friend more than their younger siblings. They were too light and airy for her, but something about Hawk made her want to be close to him, and do what he did. Al was born in Holland and is the youngest of Christoph Strobel's eight children. The first three children were born to Adele Strobel, but she soon died. Alberta Strobel was Christoph's second wife and Al's mother. She insisted on having children until one could control the element she possessed, electricity. Her first four children were powerless. When Alberta had Al, she claimed he was a blessed child. Around his house, the young child was despised. All of Adele's children practiced Dark elemental powers like their mother, but they were all annoyed by all of Alberta's children because they could take a piece of the family fortune which they believed belonged to the children of Adele. They all went off to University while Al was still young though. Al's siblings were nowhere near as nice. His oldest sibling was Alban, a tall and fierce soldier who wanted to take advantage of his brother's abilities. Hartwig and Harwin were Al's older twin brothers. They enjoyed pushing him around and bullying him. Leona was older than Al by two years and was very spiteful and jealous because their parents had thought she was the special child. The only sibling who was nice to Al was Klara, his sister who was only a year older. She pitied him, but was too busy with her life in the human world to spend much time with him. His lack of a relationship with his father was made up for by his strong relationship with his mother, though he knew it only existed because of his abilities.

Al is somewhat cruel and rude like his siblings. He can be disrespectful, harsh and just plain mean. He is a bit of a pervert, so he does not maintain long term relationships. Instead he uses cheesy pick-up lines. He is very smart, but his lack of focus results in him failing his classes. No one really likes him except for his close friends. When Vitoria graduated from a prestigious Shadow Academy, she went to work with their parents. Valencia doesn't know what her parents and sister do for a living because they say it's a secret. All she knows is that they work for the government. Before coming to the Elements Academy, she attended the same academy as her sister. She never had any friends because for some reason they were all scared of her, more specifically, her family and what they had been doing for a living for many generations. Even the servants at the Chateau steered clear of her whenever possible. Her only family and friend is her golden retriever Patch. On her 14th birthday, Valencia runs away from home and away from the Shadow country to the Elements Academy, a place where no one knows who she is, and more importantly, who her family is. To make it difficult for her family and her past to find her, Valencia enrolls under the name Val Reed.

Personality: Valencia is a very reserved person, an introvert. She only speaks with intention. Growing up in the household that she did, she has many walls and shows little to no outward emotions, dealing with things passively. Born in a neglectful household with an uncaring mother, an abusive and alcoholic father, and an addicted brother, Alina raised herself since she was young, and as soon as she grew old, she worked hard to pay the bills, living a normal, mundane life.

Though always tempted to call the authorities on her father, her mother begged her not to, and for her sake, she kept quiet until her 13th birthday when her father, drunk, was beating her mother to such a point that Alina was sure her mother would die. Terrified, her emotions got the best of her and her powers showed: all the trees around her simply burst in the house all at once, enveloping the house with wines, leaves and flowers and accidentally killing her father with a wine that went straight through him. Scared of what she was capable of, she was later recruited into the Elemental academy.

Alina is closed off at times, though proving herself to be loyal repeatedly. She's witty, charming, smart and funny yet reveals very little about herself and her past.
