All Around Mortal Instruments (Roleplay) discussion

Picture an abandoned looking old warehouse. Open the front door, and it looks like Buckingham Palace. Enter: Nik.

Nik stormed in and slammed the door behind him, not bothering to wait for Xavier. "Too soon, this all happened too soon...." He rubbed his eyes and threw his dagger at the wall. "That stupid demon!" He growled.

((Nice, nice we have a hideout!))
Xavier coolly opened the door after Nik slammed it and strolled inside, listening to his frustrated ranting. "Don't harm the wall, it's new wallpaper." Xavier said calmly, opening his palm so that the blade shot out of the wall and into his hand. "As for the monster, that spell had been deteriorating for a while...the magic isn't strong enough."

"Well, what do you suggest I should do know, smart one? We've jump started the plan three weeks in advance!" He whirled around to glare at him.

"I'm saying we need more warlocks to keep these spells going. It's not that efficient...if only there was a stable energy source we could leech from..." Xavier smirked, thinking up of new plans.

"I know that look. What are you thinking?" He stopped and grinned at, his earlier anguish forgotten.

"We'be got little shadowhunter boy here. He's a good pawn. Swap him around for equipment and warlocks and we've got instantly more power." Xavier explained, shrugging.

"Very clever." Nik laughed suddenly, clapping him on the back. "This is why I keep you around." He looked at the third party as if suddenly remembering he was there. "Now, why don't you go be a good little half-blood and keep your mouth shut about all of this?"

Xavier smirked, glad to be congratulated. He didn't show any expression at the second comment.

((Awkward. Messing up my charries. MY LIFE IS SO CONFUSING!)) Nik tapped his finger against his mouth, nodding at the shadowhunter in approval. "Very good."

((It's okay. I do it with other people's charries!))
"I'll feed him. Humans are always hungry for some reason. Then he can see how we've refurbished the dungeons." he thought out loud.

"Of course." Neither of them pointed out that Nik himself was a human. He strolled over to the couch and elegantly seated himself, grabbing the remote and beginning to flick through the channels.

"Cable. What's the use?" Xavier rolled his eyes as he flicked his finger forwards and Ryder stepped from the shadows, still locked.

"What's the matter? Warlock got your tongue?" Nik drawled, turning to grin at Ryder.

Xavier snorted at the joke before spinning his finger, making Ryder stumble forwards onto a staircase, descending into the darkness. "The demon remains are cleared up downstairs right?" Xavier asked, following him.

"Does it matter if they weren't?" He yawned, stretching out along the couch.

"Fair enough. Keep it moving." Xavier shrugged, pushing Ryder down the dark steps to the dungeons bellow. Dank and pitch black, Xavier lit up the lanterns and found a cell for the shadowhunter. Throwing Ryder into it, Xavier headed back upstairs, not forgetting to snap the lantern back off before closing the door.

Nik closed his eyes and thought about the events of the day. So much to do. "What's on the agenda for tomorrow, warlock?" He asked, opening his eyes again.

"Some underground research. Maybe a party is someone else is up for hosting it. We've got to find someone with power and skill who is in need of a shadowhunter and is willing to help us." Xavier explained, throwing himself on the couch.

"I see. Well, now that the cat's out of the bag, that pushes our deadline back a bit. A shame, I think. Would've been nice to see the Clave fall before my birthday." Nik sighed, then took out his knife and began to polish it.

"I haven't been to Idris yet...it'd be nice to go." Xavier smirked, wondering. "But yes, we're a bit more behind than I'd like to be. I'm sure we can pull enough strings to keep it rolling."

"As long as Braveheart downstairs follows orders." He agreed, nodding.

"Hm...looks like someone who causes trouble...who was that new girl anywho?" Xavier looked over at Nik, questioning.

"Don't know. She was quite a pistol, though." He grinned.

"There are plenty of feys and warlocks and werewolves and vampires for you to chase Nik...just leave the nephilim alone." Xavier teased.

"If you insist." He sighed, narrowing his eyes at Xavier in mock annoyance.

"One conquest at a time." Xavier smirked, looking at the channels as they flipped through.

Nik covered his face with his arm and tried to sleep, but the sudden realization of his plan hit him, and he sighed again.

"It's about midnight. The underworld should be waking up. Ready to find some allies?" Xavier suggested, standing again.

"Absolutely. I was going crazy!" He exclaimed,jumping to his feet.

"Great. Get ready to get your charming on." Xavier smiled, looking himself in the mirror.

Nik's entire mood shifted from moody and distressed to snarky and excited. "I don't need to turn it on, Xavier. I never turn it off." He smirked, shrugging on his jacket.

"You make me laugh Nik, you really do." Xavier snickered as he grabbed this jacket. "Let's get going."

"Please, let's." He opened the door and walked out into the night, feeling the breeze ruffle his hair.

((Okay, so you know like in MI when Valentine was experimenting with demon and angel blood? I think that that should be part of Nik's plan, like, he is taking blood from Downworlders to experiment on Shadowhunters with. So, his whole seduction thing with the vampire is just a hoax to get her blood....I won't go through with it unless you like that idea though...))

"So, it's a little small, but it's fitting for my particular needs." He whispered.

"Whatever you want, love." He smirked. "I have a young demon hunter downstairs if you want a snack." Nik pushes her playfully and shrugs off his jacket.

"If you say so." Nik walked over to her and brushed a strand of her hair behind her ear.

((There's a couch.)) "I'll try my best to keep up." He whispered into her neck, easing a hand under her shirt.

He bit her ear softly, trying to distract her. While she was occupied, he slowly reached into his pocket and removed a small syringe. Holy water and it had a small rune etched upon it. Not enough to be lethal, but enough to knock a vamp out for a while. Nik carefully slipped his hand back under her shirt and prepared himself for a fight.

Xavier paused in front of the door of the warehouse and waited for the others to arrive.

Xavier looked her over, mildly interest and more annoyed than scared. "Who might you be? Last time I checked, this was my private property..." He turned his gaze over her shoulder to his friend on the couch. "Nik? What's going on?"

Nik took this opportunity to plunge the syringe into Violetta's thigh and emptied it of its contents. "Phase two." He stood upm and brushed himself off, looking down at his handiwork in satisfaction.

Nik laughed maniacally, looking over at Xavier. "Now I just need a few drops..." He muttered to himself, bending down and retrieving her knife. He made a small cut on her wrist and held a small glass bottle under it, catching a a few spots of blood in it before replacing the stopper. He kicked her hand away. "Somebody will have to take care of it. So, who are your friends, Xavier?"

((Yeah. LOL. Talk about a third party. She can wake up after we're done talking... I'll be back later, and I think Giulia will be too.))

"Friends and possible allies." Xavier introduced, side stepping the unconscious Violetta with a raised eyebrow. "Brought them back so you could inspect them."
