This is the thread for Chap 2 (Requin) - Chap 3 (Warm Hospitality) [inclusive] It's a pretty hard book to decide how to split up so excuse the super long thread names!

How do you feel about the plot so far?

I am enjoying this book so far. It is interesting to see how Locke and Jean were after what happened in the first book.

With the Magi back its going to be interesting to see how they tie into this book.

Totally surprised me when Locke went to Requin and told him that he cheated and he wants to double cross Jean

Stragos poisoning them is going to bite him in the ass later. Loved how Locke promises revenge.



I have been reading Bonehunters all this month and totally had Red Seas Under Red Skies on the side, but ill be reading more of this book since I'm almost done with Bonehunters.

:) You must be beating me with The Bonehunters then! I'm enjoying it a lot but it's a chunky book!

As for the magi they really intrigued me in this book too from what I remember and seeing the way magic played into the story was pretty cool. I hope we get more of this in book 4 & 5 as book 3 didn't have too much reference the them (again, if I remember correctly).
