Catching the dang Suriel but now whatever the heck naga are are coming!!!
Lucien is so sneaky but I am really starting to like him. He seems to like Feyre, he is trying to give her answers in a nonchalant way lol.
Tamlin is super intimidating! He's a freaking High Lord! SO POWERFUL! But he has a softness, a sweetness to his heart that you see he guards.
The Suriel is so freaking creepy but I'm scared for Feyre now that "four shadowy figures slipped through the birch trees, so dark they seemed made from a starless night"!?!? AH! RUN GIRL RUN!

So I'm loving the amount of magical creatures we are getting to see already. Fantasy creatures are my favorite.
Tamlin hasn't started to grow on me yet either. I don't understand his motivations for kindness yet, so it's hard for me to like him.
Lucien is everything. I adore him. Sass.
I cannot get over Feyre making dumb decisions. She's supposed to be a hunter with a good survival instinct that has kept her family alive this long. But instead of acting like it, she keeps thinking of escaping into the deadly faerie realm, doesn't keep her wits about her, and now hunted down a deadly fae creature and is being stalked by something even worse. I don't understand her!

I wanted her to have her questions a little better planned out when she trapped the Suriel...I mean, sometimes when you aren't getting the answers you want, it's because you're asking the wrong questions.
Otherwise, exciting!

I'm asking that she remain ordinary. Please don't let her be some chosen one or whatever.
I want to know more about the other realm now! Why is that king so evil? How does he run his place? Why is P split into 7. Etc etc.

I really don't know enough about Tamlin to decide if I like him or not, his character seems to be on the back burner. But the whole HIGH LORD thing has totally changed this situation and makes me even more intrigued about why he spared Feyre's life. He's also reminding me of Rowan.
Feyre is starting to frustrate me; was it really a good idea to try and capture a Buriel near nightfall. I understand that she wants to protect her family and doesn't want to stay in the fae realm but her constant talking about how much she wants to leave is irritating me. I seem to be constantly finding myself thinking 'What are you doing Feyre, that will never work! They're fae! They have super advances senses!' Though we're inside her head I don't feel connected to her, I'm not grasping her personality.
I felt like this chunk was very info-dumpy and had to re-read quite a few pages BUT we got to experience the scale of the world that Sarah J Maas has created and I'm anxious to explore the different courts. I love the different creatures and the sense of danger that lurks in the forest. Who are the shadowy creatures? Will Tamlin save her, probably.
I am enjoying this and even though things are happening, nothing is really happening. I'm not captivated, for now at least.
Yep, loving Lucien and I completely agree with you Agata about the Rowan comparison now that you've said it!
I love the world, the courts sound very interesting and I am loving finding out more about the world, I just wish there was more back and forth between Feyre and Tamlin, I don't like him as a character yet, I actually find him a little bland, but I'm interested to see what happens next
