I have two standout books so far this year:Lady Chatterley's Lover
Giovanni's Room
Many books would be tied for third place, but I'll give it to:
Do No Harm: Stories of Life, Death and Brain Surgery
Just top 3? That is so mean!1. Stone Hotel: Poems From Prison
2. Crow Country
3. Rubberman's Cage
Rubberman's cage has been the biggest surprise of the year for me, was expecting just a mediocre novel but it was fantastic.

Lots of books that I liked more than I thought I would so that has to be a good thing too

It certainly isn't, Paul! I could have chosen twice as many. Am well, thank you, but have been finding it a struggle to keep on top of updating and posting reviews. Summer holidays are here though so hope to catch up a bit.Hope you're well too.

My top three are the three 1Q84 books by Haruki Murakami. I read them in January and am still reflecting on them now.
