I was kind of iffy about reading this book. The cover had me worried that it would be a gaga teen romance with 2 kids making googly eyes at each other all over the country. But I'm really surprised at how awesome it is. Nothing like I was expecting. I love the scrapbook aspects and song lists. And I'm really enjoying seeing the tale unfold.
I'm really enjoying it so far! I read Since You've Been Gone a few weeks ago and I just adore Morgan Matson's writing. I think the tragedy is not as mysterious as I expected it to be, but there could be a twist later and I could be wrong.I love the playlists and the scrapbooking and I really want a real life version of the book her mom sent her for my next roadtrip!
I thought the beginning was really slow! I'm pretty sure it's just because I really wanted to jump right into the story. But it did have a nice bit of plot and character development in the beginning that was definitely needed!!
