The Park

Johnny walked over with Nat.

“Isn’t it a great day?” Nat asked Johnny.

Johnny nodded. "It is." He then bought some ice cream for them both. He handed Nat one. "All they had was lemon and vanilla."

“that’s ok.” Nat smiled as she took the ice cream. “thanks.”

He smiled and then held his head. He dropped his ice cream and then collapsed.

“Johnny, are you okay?” Nat looked concerned.

Johnny started to foam at the mouth, but it was blood that was foaming.

“oh my god!” Nat dropped her ice cream and held Johnny. “Oh Johnny.”

A paramedic arrived and picked him up. "Come on, we're taking him to the hospital." He puts Johnny in the ambulance and waits for Nat.

Nat lets the paramedic put Johnny in the ambulance but doesn’t let go of Johnny’s hand. Tears are spilling down her cheek.

The paramedic drives to the hospital.
