Does Rhine reunite with Gabriel? How does her "husband" take Gabriel?

I have read the book in one day.... and yes she reuntied with gabriel... and I won't say anymore

I really wouldn't mind Gabriel's death either to be honest, I'm a huge shipper of Linden/Rhine - Gabriel/Rhine seems too forced and not really... real. (Though I've read the last book, so I know how it all ends).

Does that mean you also went (if you've read the Hunger Games)for the Gail team instead of the Peeta team?

I might think I'm crazy by saying this, but I think I'm in the Linden team. Linden doesn't know the situation that he's in, not properly anyway, he's been blinded from the fact that he isn't any less prisoner than everyone else in that mansion. I guess it would just a a little unpredicatable and Gabriel would be TOO predicatable, and honestly, that would suck. I rather the suprise factor more than the, "Well, that was obvious."

Everyone else I know who has read the series just loves Linden I just don't see it though. I see how some people don't ship Rhine and Gabriel because their relationship is not really developed fully in the books but I could see them together more than I could see Rhine with Linden. Linden was just too naive and it would be really silly if she went through all the trouble to escape only to end up right back where she started. I'm glad she ended up with Gabriel I wish the author would show more of their relationship though....

Yeah that is what I think. Even though she did escape, it would be a nice twist if she ended up with Linden.

I totally agree! I loved Linden from the start, and I kept thinking that he was going to re-marry Rhine! I wish he did

Well, I will tell you, if you have not read Sever yet, then you will be surprised, trust me. I was definitely NOT predictable.

I'm a little disappointed. I guess I'm happy that Rhine ended up with Gabriel, but she didn't really develop the relationship between them. I wish she did because she made the reader love Lindin and she killed him off! And what was the point of killing Lindin off like she did? It could have been done more nobly or heartfelt rather than so suddenly like she couldn't think of a better way to kill him off...

I loved Linden too! But I was so proud of Cecily!! She completely changed the way I felt about her. She went from zero to hero in my book.

I completely agree. When I was reading it, it just happened so suddenly it left me stumped a couple seconds before it finally hit.

What an amazing roller coaster of a ride. I so totally loved these books....Read the last 2 one after the other and was so taken with every single character in them....I hated to see the adventure end....More please...

I would love to see more, but I don't know what she could do...

i love Gabriel and Rhine, but come on! killing Linden was really sad, uncalled for, and unnecessary. and plus that leaves me with SSSOOOO MANY MORE QUESTIONS!!!
-was Rhine still into linden?
-were her and Gabriel gonna last?
-was there gonna be a BIG choice involving Rhine picking the man she loves?!?
And that another thing!! we never find out who she Loves. Gabriel said he loved her, but (sadly) we never herd her say it back, and (again sadly) she mentioned whether she loved Gabe or not.

And another thing. I honestly feel bad for Linden, :(
he lost not only 1, but 4 and almost 5 people he cares about, and 2 babies. This guy is just full of agony, and right when things were about to turn ok, he dies!!!
I feel even more bad for Cecily (yes i said it!) not only has this chick been through hell and back, she has to keep going, now widowed and with a child. Linden was probably the only thing she had good in her life. now hes gone! hasent this chick suffered enough!!!
I haven't had a slap in the face THIS BIG since "Mockingjay" when Prim died. and how ironic, it was in the third book towards the end. what next? Is "Divergent" gonna end with Four dying (GOD FORBID!!)

-if your gonna kill a character off, do it in the first book and get it over with! instead of letting the audience love the character and grow, just to see them croak!
