What kinda rules do you or your parents have about dating?

i cant date until after i get a good job and have lots of money

my parents rule use2 b that i couldnt date till i was 18 but now idk what their rules r about dating

i can't 'til I'm 16, but that doesn't really bother me.
My mom does however think I'm gonna marry this friend of mine.

it's funny but if i tell my dad something bout i guy he will die! and i love my dad so much tht i'm afraid of say something bout any guy in my life :S

I don't mind at all. I think that there is more to teenage life than dating. I am content to wait until the perfect guy comes around. I have guy friends, but I don't feel the need to be loved by someone just to be like everybody else. I already am loved by the most amazing Being ever, so why would I need to try to find fulfilment in someone else when the right one hasn't come around yet?

I am aloud to date when i am 14 which i personally think is reasonable my dad actually made it 14 my mom wanted it to be 16 usually its the other way around but i am happy with 14 well its kinda awkward since i am 13 and everyone says i look 15 so i have already had 16 yr olds ask me out its really wierd i tell them how old i am and they apologize its kinda funny but still wierd

i have a friend that looks older than she really is and she looks like someone else in her family, so if she really wanted to she could take their driver's license and go driving around, but she doesnt

ya i wanted to ask out an 8th grader cuz i thought she was a sophomore. then i found out she was an 8th grader n now we r just friends. . .well. . were just friends. :(

I can't go on like just me&him dates until I'm 16..but I have a boyfriend right now..and my parents haven't said anything about us going out in groups(it has to at least be a group of 4)

yeah, I'm in a similar situation, but i just can't really find a way to tell someone how i feel about her.
I know i should just be able to say "i really like you" but it's really not that easy. i do indeed sympathize with you, Ben.

Yeah, guys, I know it's probably hard, but if you like the girl and she likes you back, she'd probably really like it if you told her you like her.

well, that's it. i think she likes me, but i don't want to risk my friendship with her either.

Good point. Maybe you could ask someone who knows her if she likes you or something.

ah, well there's not much anyone can do to help at this point. but it's hard. i only see her once a week and have no way to talk to her alone.

there's this thing, i guess it's like a school. we both go for like five hours a day, one day a week. i saw her earlier today, and i was about to talk to her, but i seem to lack the conviction to talk to her. she's two years older than me... i'm beginning to wonder if this is a good idea.

Oh yeah, that might be kinda scary then, lol, well if you really really really do like her, you should just talk to her, just say hi or something and walk away.

i can't really express my feelings for her, if that means anything :P i would have talked to her, but there's one really annoying little bugger who won't leave me alone. i can't be alone with said girl without said bugger nearby.

You should tell them to leave you alone for a minute, or say hey wait here, then run over to said girl, say 'hey', then go back to the bugger.

ya if ive learned nething its that age doesnt realy matter. my 1st gf was a grade ahead of me, the next was in my grade, the next was a grade under me, the next was 2 grades under me. . after that it kinda gets illegal no matter how old she looks and how mature she is since im almost 18

Almost 18 is the key, lol jk. My best friend is getting married in a couple of months, she's still a minor, and her betrothed is eight years older than her... talk about an age diffrence.

i have a lot of age difference in my family so i guess im use2 it.
my dad is 7 years younger than my mom and my mom is 12 years younger than my stepdad
and my stepdad has a daughter that is older than my dad

:| my stepmom it's 7 years older than my dad :S and my older stepsister has the same age of his sister! xD lol and they fight like they were brothers ¬ :S

not snowing but really cold right now :S well, not now :S when i wrote tht it was lol i live in the south of america so it's autumn now and it's starting to get cold :S
