Is it just me...or is Luke kind of like Percy, just an older version of Percy?
Im reading Luke's diary and it does seem like that...

I think I know why it feels like its Percy talking in Luke's Diary. It's still Rick Riordan, and he uses the same style of writing in the Demigod Diaries as he has in every other Percy Jackson book.

I had the same feeling about Jason at first, but then it faded a bit. I guess in a way they're all sort of main guy characters and it's hard to differentiate personalities between them
At first it was like that for me, but as the story went on you could tell it was Luke. He has a LOT of bitterness to his words, wheras Percy is still hilarious, but in a different way.
And why does Luke's diary stop after finding Annabeth? What about the story of them getting to camp and Thalia dying?
I have to remind my self when im reading the HoO books that when for exsample, Jason is narrating I keep thinking of him as ether Percy or Leo. (my two fav's)
