Independent Question of the Day discussion

For those who did not have class on Friday, the questions was this: If you could be anything on Earth besides human, what would you be and why?

Something that hasn't yet been discovered.

I'd have to go with a squid because it is a pretty intelligent animal and it doesn't have the drawbacks associated with its intelligence as seen with the dolphin (it is forced to perform tricks for humans). Furthermore, I would have a beak and the ability to tear things up with those talon things on the ends of two of my tentacles. The ability to squirt ink at predators while fleeing would be pretty cool too.

I'm not trying to take credit for this brilliance, but my favorite answer from 5th period was Andy's. He said that he would be an idea. I think that is so awesome and inventive. Kudos, Andy!
