Yay! So excited to finally read this!

I just got horrible news. I'm not able to get my books before after winter break (a whole week from Monday), so it looks like you guys are going to have to read this one without me..
hope you guys enjoy it!! I'll try my best to get a copy sooner to join if possible then.

I hope you guys like this one...I think the descriptions and the writing is just lovely...and my (view spoiler)[ heart breaks for Akiva and Karou. (hide spoiler)]

Oh my Minion! I'm really loving the story. Karou seems like a really good heroine...and she's such a badass in a tortured artist kinda way.

This counts for me if any of you are doing the Mimic Mods challenge! Loved this one.

I'm only at 21% sadly! But I'm growing immensed in the story. Have a lot of questions right now. Why teeth? What does Brimstone do with it? I really have no theory. Also, who are Karou's parents and how did the chimera found her?

I agree. It's so intriguing. I love the twists in the story because it wasn't predictable or lagging.

I'm only 10% lol! Ill read much more tomorrow. I'm not like crazily smart and I'm from the US so I have no idea what all these big words mean lol

I'm loving this one so far. I'm on page 105 and I love it. Laini Taylor is really good at painting a word picture. I love it! If the whole book is like this, then it will end up on my favorites shelf.

I like the fact that it wasn't dragging and the characters weren't predictable or stereotypical. Akiva will be another book boyfriend to add to the list :)

Though I was a little disturbed that Madrigal and Akiva (view spoiler)[had sex when they barely even knew each other, I do really like the way it's portrayed between them. You know that they're having sex, but it's always referred to as "love". No even "making love", just "love". I like it. (hide spoiler)]
