Exploring mysteries set in Sweden.

Sharon | 5 comments Who can forget Smilla's Sense of Snow, by Peter Hoeg? More recently, the popular winner is Steig Larsson's Lisbeth series. A friend sent me a rubber wristband that says, "What would Lisbeth do?"
The Kurt Wallendar series must be nearly as popular. Are all Swedish mysteries so dark? Is it a climate thing?

I love The Wallander series and have read other books by Mankell as well. Perhaps it is the climate.
