Books that are new takes on classic tales are becoming more and more popular (think This Dark Endeaver by Oppel, Cinder by Meyer etc). Do you enjoy these spin off tales or wish they would stop? If you do like them what are some of your favorites!?

I personally really enjoy the spin off books! It's nice to see new life breathed into classic tales. I really enjoyed This Dark Endeavor by Oppel and Cinder by Meyer. Currently I'm reading a debut novel by A. G. Howard called Splintered that focuses on the story of Alyssa Gardner a descendant of Alice from Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and it's really interesting so far!

Christina | 2 comments I like the Looking Glass Wars. In these books Princess Alyss of Wonderland gets put in our world and has to learn how to live here. She tells Lewis Carroll and he thinks she's kidding so he writes a book about it.

Oh! I will have to check out that series! It sounds like you might enjoy Splintered!

Nalani | 2 comments I haven't personally read any spin offs because i don't like the idea of them. I think classics should stay classics.

That's completely understandable! What's your favorite classic?
