Actually, to tell you the truth, all characters in this series are all historical and mythical figures-of course the only exception here are Josh and Sophie. :))))

PS: Wait 'till you read Enchantress. It will blow your mind-well what's left of it, really- and make you shed a tear or two. xD

That is one of the reasons why I LOVE this series. All characters are historical or mythical figures, series is full of events that actually happened. Right now im reading the warlock, and i cant stop thinking that Danu Talis is Atlantida or maybe was. :D Anyways i love how myths and legens from all over the world are combined in these books!

It was shocking and surprising at the end when author tells that all are real except the twins!
I actually searched flamel n Dee on wikipedia and google and was quite astonished!!
That means that they are still there till today?? Because people have seen flamel even after centuries of his so called death!
After knowing the fact they are real , the book becomes more exciting to me!

I read these books at first it was entertaining but it became drab. They spend too long in certain situations or the guy wrote a whole book about 2 weeks of their lives i would have rather seen them grow as people over years than months.

I had already heard of a lot of the characters.
