No problem. It's a great site for pulp book. Hope we read some of them at some point.

I read this a week ago or so ...someone on the Rara-Avis list linked to it.
I found it very interesting but it wasn't long enough for me. I want to know more about Gil Brewer.
He's an outstanding writer and his books are just so hard-edged and fun to read.
I only discovered Gil Brewer after reading about him 2 years ago via Bill Crider's blog, I believe it was.
Since then I've read everything I've been able to find by Brewer. Even sprung for some rather expensive mint edition original Gold Medal paperbacks!
They were worth every dime they cost.
I have a lot of Gil Brewer books. The only one I liked so far is Red Scarf. I have A Killer Is Loose so I'll check it out at some point.
