Metamorphosis discussion

Ok so I get that I'm in the minority here, but I feel like I have to stick up for Ash. I just feel like Scarlett will end up with Ash, he just has to grow up, but the chemistry between them is, powerful! I think Mason is wonderful, and I know she is trying to do what she thinks is right, but she doesn't really LOVE Mason, and he deserves to be with someone who really loves him, someone who puts him first in their heart. For Scarlett that will always be Ash.

I absolutely agree. I actually love Ash and their connection. I feel that it is so much more than the attraction she shares with Mason. Ash actually put his desires on hold for her own good. If that's not love I don't know what is. Yes, he has made mistakes, but he's young and hot and things happen. Lets not forget that this is hard on him too. He's not sure how to handle things. He just knows that he has to do what's right for Scarlett.

I'm so glad someone else sees it this way. I think that Scarlett is truly in love with Ash, while she may care for Mason, her heart belongs to Ash. My stomach got butterflies when we found out that Ash got the same tattoo. It shows that she has his heart too!! Swoon!!

Thank you! I think that it's clear throughout the book that she loves Ash and that nothing compares to that connection. She didn't go back to him only because she is mad at him and doesn't trust her feelings for her. I think that his willingness to give up what he wants for her sake shows the depth of his feelings. Mason is great, don't get me wrong. He clearly cares for her too, but he's a playboy too. And he is drawn to her purity. But he didn't even think twice to take her virginity knowing that she was upset about something. He didn't even try to figure out what was wrong. And then she goes A Wall and he leaves her that nasty message... for me that did it. If he was so in love with her, he should have gone to look for her after she left his bed to make sure she was ok. If he had, he would have found out about Evie and done anything in his power to find her. I mean seriously, if she is at grandparents, how hard is it to track them down. Clearly he was too busy with his superstar life to take care of her. So there, I've said it.

there is just no connection bet mason and scarlett like she has with ash. what is bet mason and scarlett is lust and sex. ok so mason loves her but i think what drawn him to sam is bec she's diff from the other girls he'd known.

they don't connect like scarlett and ash do. they don't talk like sam and ash do.

i get ash's reasoning that scarlett need the transition, the need to learn some things on her own. that's why he kept that friend thing bet them

i hope ash really fights for sam on the next book and i hope ash wins her over mason

I love the connection between them, its a strong one he needs to grow up before he loses her altogether.

I hope Ash gets her too, I like Mason and all, but it's seems like the book keeps pointing to her and Ash being soulmates
