I read Dawn of the Aspects, Pt. 1 yesterday and enjoyed it very much. Only it went so quick! I'm ready for more!
My plan is to get a few parts together & then let my journey begin. At least that's the plan... must... resist...urge... to read now.. :-)
I really like how we accompy Kalec on these mysterious vision. It reminded me of Being John Malcovich
argghhh! cliffhanger much! I too should have waited for a couple parts to come out before reading. To steal from an aweful commerical " its my story and I want it now!"
I know right?! I wasn't thrilled about an abrupt ending and not being able to get to the next part. I sure as heck preordered the next one as fast as I could...but now I have to wait. *sigh* /drama Oh, why? Why do we have to wait? /enddrama

So far I am really impressed with how Knaak has presented the Aspects not really being able to deal with their loss of power and with it purpose. Kalec while I was not a fan of him in Tides of War has enough human emotions tied in that it is easy to understand what he is going through and how it is so hard for him to deal with the other "Aspects". Also love the intro to how proto-dragon were, and the difference between the "smart" ones that can talk and those that are simply beasts. Really looking forward to part 2!
