This is where you can talk about anything Jacob. I on the other hand don't like him.

AurorainBookland I like Jacob he's a good friend to Bella and a great older brother to Renesmee.

Abby Min | 119 comments I have got to admit that he was always there for Bella and also he was a brother for Renesmee..... He has a good attitude only when he is not trying to steal Bella from Edward!

i never liked him and don't understand why people do.

Rebecca I like him so far. He loves Bella, unfortunately for him, because there is no chance for him with Bella. I think that he would be a great catch for someone, however, there's a minor detail of what he really is to explain to someone new. That's probably part of the reason that he would really like it to work out between him and Bella. She already knows and can deal.

I don't see that. I thought his character was a little annoying.

Rebecca Now that I have finished Eclipse (Twilight, #3) by Stephenie Meyer I can make a more informed comment on Jacob. I felt bad for him. When Edward left he was there for Bella and they formed a bond. They were in love but Bella couldn't see it then and Jacob was right if Edward had stayed away Jacob would have "won" Bella's heart. I don't know if I will enjoy reading the 4th book though as I gather it's from Jacob's point of view.

only part of breaking dawn is in Jacob's point of view most of its in Bella's point of view.

Rebecca that is good to know. Now maybe I'll try to get it from the library on my next trip.

He is most definitely NOT Renesmee's older brother...

Where are people getting the idea that he is Renesmee's older brother? Yes, he watches out for her, but no, not a brother. He's her "intended" in a manner of speaking; in other words, he's protective of her because he knows he'll be her husband when she grows up.

Where..."

With Imprinting the wolf becomes whatever they need for example Emily was ready for a romantic relationship so Sam became her boyfriend. Quil is like Claire's older brother and later when is she a lot older he will most likely be her boyfriend same with Renesmee Jacob is acting like an older brother he takes that role in her life if they want to label it as something and when Renesmee is all grown up in a few years Jacob will most likely be her boyfriend. It's not a romantic relationship so you can't call Jacob Renesmee's boyfriend just yet so I just think of their relationship right now as a brother sister one then as she grows the relationship will change into a more romantic one kind of like how some friends end up dating latter. Hope this makes sense.

Paula Dunne | 4 comments Hi Balletprincess, I appreciate your response, but although he may act like her best friend (and every romantic relationship should be that anyway) I'd stop short of calling him her "brother" or even "a brother" to her; no one wants to marry their brother. That's more than a little creepy...but then again, so is a grown man imprinting on a baby:) But, I get what you're saying and thanks for weighing in:)

you're welcome I agree he is a friend who is older to her but from the outside people who don't know the family or at least don't know the secret of vampires and werewolves it looks like he's her older brother that's what I meant.

And you're welcome, I'm trying to be more active on other conversations especially since the twilight roleplay I'm in died.
