So, let's say that scientists have figured out a way for us to go to alternate universes. The rules are- there's only one main difference between our universe and this other universe & that one difference has to affect everyone (you can't say "I wanna live in the universe where I'm rich"). What one change would you make?

Neanderthals were the surviving branch of the evolutionary line (This is already a book series called "Hominids" about a scientist Neanderthal from that other universe reaching over to ours). But then I wouldn't exist...so I don't like that one...
Oh! I know! I'd want for all of our timeline of technological advances to be about 300 years furthered. In 1700 we were driving cars and flying planes. Then we could get a window into where our tech would be in 300 years from now.
Or! As a story, no disease in that other world, at all. When we get there we discover that microorganisms simply don't thrive well in the human body. But ours have had years of learning to kick butt, so we show up and everyone just starts getting sick and dying. Oh no! Now we must invent anti-biotics (sliders episode...)
