I read Catherine McKenzie's "Arranged" this weekend (love it!) and I'm about a third of the way into Chris Moore's "Lamb."

Lamb by Chris Moore is one of my all time favorites! Too funny! I'm reading "Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch" by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. It reminds me of Chris Moore books. Enjoy! :-)
I'm reading The Ice Queen by Alice Hoffman. It's very unusual and a little dark. Not sure what to think just yet - but it has made me afraid of lightning!
Finishes Seraphina! I thought it was a really fun book. It was about dragons but not in the traditional sense. I noticed there is a sequel, but it won't come out until 2014. I'm excite for it!
Slogging through Dean Koontz's "A Big Little Life: A Memoir of a Joyful Dog" Picked it out because I like Koontz's fiction and I know how much Trixie meant to him. I'll finish it because I'm 60% through and dangit, I hate not finishing a book but he sure does get me irritated with how little he knows about raising a dog.

Teams from Brooke County Public Library have been reading a lot! Recently, there was an enthusiastic response to the "Love Hina" series of graphic novels. Brooke residents, it's not too late to form a team and join the fun...
I just finished The Heretic's Daughter by Kathleen Kent. I liked it but not everyone in my book group did. It's a new look at the Salem witchcraft trials and pretty dark. The author is a direct descendent of Martha Carrier who was hanged as a witch.
Pam wrote: "Just finished Spin by Catherine McKenzie and I'm working on Lindsey Davis' Venus in Copper."Pam, did you like Spin? It's gotten some recent buzz.
