I just started up a new blogspot! I had to give up my Wordpress blog, since it didn't support Rafflecopters, and I like to do giveaways. Right now, until March 11th, I am one of 11 indie authors doing a great big giveaway! I am also featuring several of said authors on my blog, for a series of themed interviews. The subject is "What's In a Name?" We're discussing pen names, character names, and setting names. It's a lot of fun! Come by and check out these great authors and enter for a chance to win either 11 ebooks, or 3 print books and a $20 Amazon card!

Please join in the conversation, follow, and keep in touch, especially if you're an author who might be interested in doing an interview/giveaway on the blog in the future! :)
Thanks!

Hello, out there. I am new to the world of self publishing, but have just published my book, Morning Star by Anna Chastain on amazon. It's simultaneously nerve wracking and thrilling, as I'm sure many of you have experienced. Any tips are welcome as I meander through this process! Good luck to you and thanks.http://www.amazon.com/author/annachas...Morning Star

I recently received a really nice review from ForeWord Reviews. It's kind of a big thing to me! :)https://www.forewordreviews.com/revie...
I recently started a blog, and am looking for content to put in it. I don't particularly want to write about my own stuff and writing process every single day. I'm looking for Indie authors to do interviews, cover reveals, or let me review their books on my blog. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. I'd prefer to stick with the romance genre. www.conleycorner.blogspot.comI can be reached at anneconleyauthor@gmail.com
Great News, B.B.! & Anne, I'll send out a message to the group. I'm sure there are plenty of our authors who would love to be a part of your blog :)

Hey everybody, I've been very busy getting ready for my first blog tour to promote my novel, The Guilty, beginning this Friday, June 28 and running on several different dates through-out the summer. The tour is run through the orangeberry.com website, and you can check out all the sites where I'll be posting guest blogs, being interviewed, and where my book will be reviewed, as well as the various dates, by clicking on: http://blog.orangeberrypromo.com/2013....
I decided to go all out on a promotional push this summer, and so I'll also be slashing the price for the book to .99 a download. I realized that the best way to get the book into the hands (and onto the Kindles) of the greatest number of readers is to discount the book deeply and to not worry about how big or how small each royalty payment is.
You can also follow my occasional (ie. few and far between) tweets about this book tour at @Boutros_Author. I'll certainly be letting everyone know how well this promotion is going, and whether it was worth doing. Watch this space for further news!
I'm hosting a guest post on my blog today in honor of David Estes's first anniversary of the publication of his book The Moon Dwellers He's giving away free copies from Smashwords to anyone, and also has another giveaway running as well. You can find out all the information on the blog post: http://hazelwest.blogspot.com/2013/06...
The first week of my blog tour to promote my novel, The Guilty, is over; seven days of interviews, book excerpts and guest posts, with some book reviews still to come. Quite the interesting experience, reaching out and interacting with readers on a number of different sites who will, I hope, discover and enjoy my book. Coming up next are weekly posts, starting Friday, July 12 and continuing every Friday through to the end of August. All this is organized via Orangeberry.com, and the details of the tour can be found at http://blog.orangeberrypromo.com/2013.... Updates as they happen...
I just got a post up on my blog introducing my new WIP. I've posted the whole first chapter and character sketches. Come check it out! It's a 1930s mystery set in London and the protagonist is a ex- jewel theif who enjoys knitting and drinking tea. He also works as a consultant for other thieves ;) http://hazelwest.blogspot.com/2013/07...

I'm new to all this... yikes! My first novel is out: The Offering via CreateSpace, Amazon and Kindle. So many of you are such pros at this book-marketing thing. Any suggestions about the most important thing(s) I should do to market my novel?
Hi Guys, sorry it's been so long since I've been on this group, I was so busy over the holidays and since Jan hit I've been working furiously on my new novel, but I just thought I'd post the link to my new blog here too. It's only dedicated to writing and stories and I'm doing a serial right now of my Arthurian retelling, so if you like that, please check it out! I'm also hoping to invite some guest writers onto the blog to do themed writing challenges so if you want to do that, please let me know.
