Selene sat on her bed looking out the window, she looked at SwiftWinter being fed by Hagrid, she smiled.

Gabby went over to Selene and said, "What are you looking at."

"Hey Gabby! Hey Selene!" Lucy called as she came over.

River tucked herself cloer in her chair. she bit her lip and pretended to read her book.

"U Okay, River? you look upset. Plus, you don't usually just read right after DADA class. Did you fail another DADA exam?" Lucy asked, out of concern for her friend.

River nodded, her eyes darting around. "I'm terrible at it." she said sadly.

"Do you want me to tutor you?" She asked sincerely.

River smiled smally. "Yes, thank you." she said with a grin.

"Okay, what are you studying right now?" She asked reaching for the DADA book.

"Mostly about some of the animals, ect. the teacher wanted us to write a 6 inch report on them and I still don't understand the whole metamorphis stage and the brain deadness when they transfor." she said, rubbing her eyes. "Plus, he wants me to write a speacil report on the evalution of werewolves because i failed the test."

"K, here, this is a way to remember..." Lucy went into a long explanation to try to help her friend.

River bit her lip and made mental notes. slowly, it became cleaer. soon she was asking questions and smileing.

"Got it? I know, it's complicated. If you need any help, just come to me, k? This is all you need to know for the exam. I took it yesterday, don't worry!"

mercy laughed when she walked in the room."I just got another detention.only this time it's with McGonagal."

"Are you serious, Mercy? At this rate You'll be expelled before the end of the year!" Lucy laughed getting up.
((Even though Lucy's 3years younger, r they still friends anyway? Or should Mercy be Lucy's role model?))

"Well,I'm booked this week.I got one with Lupin yesterday and he doesn't usually give them."Mercy pulled an apple from her pocket and bit into it.

"Nice! Ha ha! I can't believe you! What'd ya do this time?"

"With lupin or Mcgonagal?"

"Both!" Lucy said, sitting down, knowing this would take a while.

"Well,Lupin caught me giving Lacy callahan boils in the hall and I helped Sally Winkle cheat on her test in his class.Only it wasn't cheating because i gave the Hufflepuff the wrong answers.I got a detention from McGonagal for being caught outside school grounds near the edge of the Forbidden forest,only i should get out of that one because i was helping Hagrid get ready for class."

"Ha ha! Nice! I wish I could be as daring as you! Especially since parents don't have to sign detentions here!"

"i know.I'm actually trying this year.i have all O's but I just can't seem to stay out of trouble.Want some bootlegged food?"

"Say wha?"

"i have a whole lot of food i take from the Great Hall and sell to the fat kids,i give it away to my friends."

"Oh... thanks, but I'm not hungry. I'm working on keeping my weight at 105lbs. that's where it is right now, and that's where it's staying!" she smiled because she was kidding, she wasn't worried about her weight.

mercy frowned and pinched her belly."true,I'm fat,Iweigh 120,i could lose a few."

"ur NOT fat! OMG! I bet 2 million girls want your figure!" Lucy laughed!

"No,they want me to lose weight,anyway,I'm skipping lunch,got to study for O.W.L.s."

"Right, but didn't you take O.W.L.S. 5th year?"

"Yes, but i,oh yeah,meant N.E.W.T."

"OH! Right. Got it! Yeah, I really wish there was gonna be a Tri Wizard Championship this year! I have the perfect dress for the Yule Ball. I brought it, just in case, but I think they would have told us to bring dress clothes. *sigh* oh well." She said in mock sadness

"Yeah well..."she glanced at the clock."Oh joy,time for us to get to DADA."

"I ♥ DADA! But Lupin is kinda weird... I like him, don't get me wrong, but there's something strange about him... Hey, Mercy, ya wanna find out?" She asked as they quickly gathered their books.

"Find out what the fact that he is hiding something?"she took her books from Lucy.

river stood up and packed her things up in a bag. she licked her lips nervously- she really didn't like DADA, but Lupin was helpful.

Lucy was still on that he was evil. "Maybe he's a death eater or an evil animagus or... or... or..." She was trying to think of something really bad.

"He-Who-Cannot-Be-Named?"

River shook her head. "Professer Lupin is funny. I think he's pretty cool."

Selene turned her head from Swift Winter, "He is...I think he might have some mental promblems, his teeth are to bright. Hey, Mercy did you see my Unicorn Swift Winter while you were with Hagrid?"

Mercy looked at Selene."Yeah,I fed him,hagrid thought you were going to."

Selene chuckled, "She is nice with everyone, except though Slytherins.
