Wendy Got a copy from the library. It is next up as soon as I finish The Cloud Atlas which, by the way, is very good. The Lock Artist looks like it will be an interesting story.

Theresa Sivelle (hiking1957) I really liked this book. Hopefully this is the link to my review. :-)

Luffy Sempai (luffy79) I thought it was silly in some parts and good in others. 3/5. I still don't know if the love between Mike and Amelia is the real deal. Here's my review :

Andrea Corley | 1298 comments I just started it and it seems a little odd. I don't know if I was just spent after finishing Dark Places or what but there aren't many times while at work that I just quit listening and keep on working, but I did yesterday! I'll give it more of a go today!

Luffy Sempai (luffy79) Jenni wrote: "Strange, isn't it? Sometimes the characters "don't have chemistry." "

I think the author is very competent and he inserted enough reasons for these two's attraction. It's difficult to argue that their love happened out of the blue. There are premonitions and a buildup. It just doesn't add up. The thought process of Mike doesn't link well with what we see of Amelia.

Andrea Corley | 1298 comments I have been listening to this and it seems that the book is rather long or the story that he could have successfully finished it and left some out!

VickiLee | 251 comments All right, I did find the description to turning locks this way and that a bit tedious, and I did have huge questions about why Michael made some of the choices he did, but the novel is rich in characterization and gets full marks for originality. I found the graphic novel sequence to be beautifully rendered. However, it seemed to me that many of the characters lacked a deeper kindness that I believe this boy was deserving of. Definitely a novel worth giving a try.

Andrea Corley | 1298 comments I listened to a bit of it on audio and didn't realize that my online library loan ended (that happens to me a lot!!) while I was at my Conference so I had to get it back so I can finish it but I had already started The Fifth Assassin, so I'll finish it first and then finish this one off!
