I'm about halfway through Nefertiti and I can't put it down. It's really too bad I don't get a lot of time to read or I'd be done with it already.
Well, I finished Nefertiti and liked it so much that I just finished reading the sequel The Heretic Queen A Novel. Now I'm reading People of the Book Library Edition
I am currently reading Sons by Pearl S. Buck. This is the sequel to The Good Earth. I love it. I have reread The Good Earth several times and have meant to read the rest of the books in the trilogy and I finally got to it. Sons has the same feel and flavor as The Good Earth, I can't put it down!
I just finished The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane last week and then I just finished The Story Sisters this morning. Now I'm onto Perfection A Memoir of Betrayal and Renewal. It's been too hot to do anything else. lol
How was The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane? I've been interested in reading it since it first came out but have other books on my reading table before it, so I haven't made an effort to go get it.So you're the first person I can ask...is it worth it?
I just finished reading Sarah's Key which I highly recommend. Very sad but very good book. I am currently reading Shanghai Girls by Lisa See.

I recently finished Tanya Huff's The Enchantment Emporium, as well as Juliet Blackwell's Secondhand Spirits: A Witchcraft Mystery. Witches and mysteries this time around.
I just started The Historic Mary by Michael Jordan I have to say as much as I want to read the book authors such as he disappoint me. I'm not going to spew about why, I'll just say his writing style is a bit pretentious which will make it an unnecessarily difficult read for some.
Just finished Barbara O'Neal's The Secret Of Everything. Took a few chapters to really get into it, but it turned out to be a really good book!
I'm working on Les Miserables by Victor Hugo, The Waste Lands (Dark Tower 3) by Stephen King and The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien.
I've wanted to read Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, I'll get to it eventually. I've heard alot of good things about it. lol. Right now I'm reading Tomorrow When The War Began by John Marsden, Nightmares & Dreamscapes by Stephen King, The Walking Dead Book 2 by Robert Kirkman and Julius Caesar w/ my son for his class. Yeah, I'm busy. lol
I'm currently reading Enclave by Anne Aguirre..a futuristic dystopian novel...i'm on a dystopian kick these days! You guys should check it out!
Okay, just read the description and some reviews and it sounds horrifying...so much so that I WANT to read it!!
Have you read Fahrenheit 451? If not I definitely recommend it....but if you have, this will remind you of that in ways. :)
Kathy wrote: "Have you read The Book by M. Clifford, Melissa? I highly recommend that one!"I just got it. Looks like a great idea, I hope he makes it work as a story.
I loved it! I won't say anything, I don't want to give anything away. But let me know what you think. I will definitely be rereading it soon!
I just finished Dragon Tattoo and it was worth the effort. It takes a bit to get going but once it does, you can't put it down. I recommend it.As for dystopian fiction, I finished Lethem's Amnesia Moon a few weeks ago. That was a bit out there. But still enjoyable.
I just started reading Skinnedby Robin Wassermanand so far so good. It seems like it will be kind of along the lines of The Adoration of Jenna Fox, which I LOVED and can't wait for the second in the series, due out in August! If anyone wants to read along...feel free!! Would love to discuss!
Can I ask what dystopian is? I've never heard of it. Right now I'm reading A Discovery of Witches. It's a slow read but really worth it.

I think what's so scary about dystopian fiction is that in most cases it is so close to what our world is like that that's whats so scary! We can see how quick and easily it could get that bad!
I'm working on Nightmare & Dreamscapes by Stephen King and Games Of Thrones by Goerge R.R. Martin. Loving both! :)

I'm reading both old and new books from my publisher. I polished off Descent into Danger yesterday, a really good romantic suspense novel. I still prefer Discovering Veronica though, but that's out of print unfortunately. Currently reading Totally Buzzed, with Laura's Secrets up next.
I'm currently reading
and so far so good!! Looking for my next read now! have a happy tuesday everyone =)
I recently finished A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin and absolutely loved it! I can't wait to continue the series. I also just finished The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck, one of my all-time-faves. Now I'm working on The Confession by Grisham and Nightmares and Dreamscapes by King.
I am currently reading Guilty Pleasures by Laurell K. Hamilton. That is the first book of the series. My husband is on book #15 in the series.
I am reading
I'm finding it to be a really quick read...It's okay, not the best, but the story is just starting to pick up steam and I like the main character.
Not sure whether to continue my current series and start reading
or read a quick book by Nicholas Sparks
