Pandora walked through town her headphones in her ear hidden under her blue and black hair. The weather around her was perfectly warm with a cool breeze that occasionally made a loose strand of her hair fly freely. People walked around her going who knows where. Pandora didn't have anywhere to go to particular anyway. If a store caught her eye, that's all there was to it.
Pandora walked into one store that caught her eye, Evangeline's. From the window in the store, you could see Pandora looking through various hats, gloves, and unusual jewelry. She held one necklace in her hands and smiled.
Jacqueline bit at her thumb, a nasty habit, but she couldn't help it. She tried to keep tabs on the hunters at all times for her own safety and was known for selling information about hunters to other outcasts. It was a dangerous business and she knew it wouldn't be long until the hunters learned she wasn't a normal human. That pissed her off the most. She pretended to be a loyalist to the hunters and gave them information about outcasts whereabouts after they had long moved on from their hiding places. It was the best she could do to keep her cover, but it wasn't going to last forever. Jacqueline sighed and pushed open the door of a bar. She wasn't 21 yet, but she found a few loop holes that got her a job here.
Pandora paid for the necklace and shook her head when she was offered a bag, she immedilately put it on. She left the store and then walked up to a bar. A worker there asked if she was 21. She tilted her head to the side and flipped him off. He shrugged and let her be. one thing adults had that they assumed almost adults like her didn't have: attitude. She sat down in a bar seat
"How you doin sugar? What can I git ya?" Jacqueline asked, forgetting about her accent. Another habit of her's she needed to do something about. She had to keep herself from visibly cringing at how awful she sounded.
"Gin and Tonic would be nice," she pulled out her headphones from her ears and put them back in her pocket. Pandora looked up to meet Jacqueline's eyes. She didn't seem to have that hardness in her look that most adults had.
"For someone so young you seem to have gotten the look of 21 down." Jacqueline raised an eyebrow. She knew everything about being underage and bending the rules too. It was almost a hobby.
"Look who's talking. You're about as underage as myself, and you're working here. i applaud you for that" she smiled a closed lip smile at her and leaned her head into her hand.
"We all have our ways of bending the rules." Jacqueline smiled and put a finger to her lips. She made Pandora's drink and set it in front of her. "There ya go."
Pandora smiled and took the drink from her. "Some find it a habit to do it more than necessary. I only do it when I feel like it" she laughs and then takes a sip of her drink. She pulls out a bill from her breast pocket and hands it to Jacqueline.
Jacqueline took the money and stuffed it into the cash register. "If only all people had the dedication we do. Then maybe I wouldn't know so many idiots."
"A world without idiots would be boring, you have to admit." she took another drink of her gin and tonic. Pandora's light green eyes lifted from her drink to Jacqueline. Was she like pandora, she wondered.
"Jacqueline." She held her hand out. This girl was interesting and she had to wonder what type of person she was.
Pandora stook out her hand and shook Jacqueline's hand. "Pandora". She enjoyed Jacqueline's company and she couldn't help but find it almost too easy to talk to her
Jacqueline grinned and started cleaning glasses. It didn't matter how much she enjoyed talking to Pandora, she was still at work. "Did you see the comet last night?" That was all Jacqueline's neighbor could talk about. A new comet was spotted in the sky the night before and he was quite the space geek.
"I did, actually. From where my house sits, it wasn't too bad of a view. Did you see it too?" Pandora finished up her Gin and Tonic and set down her empty glass. Pandora covered her mouth as a burp came to her lips "Excuse me". SHe giggled
Jacqueline giggled a bit too. "Not really, I was in my apartment sleeping when my neighbor started shouting about a comet. He's quite obnoxious."
"It's a shame that there's more obnoxious men then good looking men nowadays. It doesn't help single girls at all" She sighs. Pandora tucked some of her hair behind her ear
"You said it sista." Jacqueline put down the glass she was holding, "But sometimes obnoxious people are very helpful. They keep the jack asses away."
"Exactly why we need them in society"she nods in agreement and laughs under her breath. Pandora hands her her empty glass and then she pulls out her phone to check the time. She puts it back in her pocket
"You got a date?" Jacqueline asked when she noticed Pandora checking the time. She took the empty glass and started to clean it.
Pandora shook her head "No. And anyway, I should be going" Pandora felt the weather outside change according to Pandora's sudden feeling of loneliness. Clouds begin to roll in, and the wind suddenly became freezing
Pandora stood up and smiled at her "Don't worry about me. I've managed for this long, and I can ride it out for longer" Pandora walked out of the bar and looked up the suddenly dull sky. She closed her eyes and focused on more pleasant thoughts and then the clouds rolled away and the cold wind stopped showing the stars above
Jester played with his rock. It wasn't an ordinary rock. It was a specialized rock made by him. Adding enouh Phosphorus during his procedure, when the rock hits a hard surface, it harmlessly explodes into dust, forming a thick smoke screen for his escape. A handy tool it was. Putting it back inside his pocket he strolled around the town, wondering what interesting will he be doing today.
Pandora had left the bar and walked through town. Of course, the weather outside was nice now. The occasional wind brought up a swirl of leaves and then carried them away down the sidewalk. Pandora could still her Gin and tonic on her breath as she coughed. She hoped that she wasn't sick or something
Passing by a tree, a caught a glimpse of his favorite yellow fruit. "Mango!" He smiled in delight. Like a monkey was he not, he climbed the tree with ease, jabbing his knife to the bark as he ascended until he sat to a sturdy branch. Plucking out the riped yellow mango, he wiped his knife on his shirt and started slicing the sweet fruit.
Pandora pulled out her headphones from her pocket and placed them in her ears once she had turned on her music at last. It was one her favorite songs by Evanscence so she sang softly along to it. It was funny, because she found most of the songs she loved on Pandora radio station. "It was named after me," she would joke and then laugh. She smiled softly
As he sliced the fruit in three, Jester took notice of a girl on the walk way, wearing earphones and took no other priorities of her surroundings as she walked. "A drunken lady," Jester told himself, continuing on eating as he watched her in curiosity.
((Hey Jester, can I rp now, if I promise I make my charrie later? It's too late to jump onto my laptop, but I really want to rp.))
Pandora began to feel the alcohol start to kick in now. She was underage to drink anyway, but she somehow found a way around it every time. She tripped a little and then steadied herself by grabbing the trunk of a tree. The weather reflected her mood now: the wind and rain sudddenly came down making it hard to see then it ended just as fast as it came. Her blue and black hair was wet now. She laughed under her breath
Even from above, Jester can still smell the reeking stench of the girl. "Eww," he said, pinching his nose. Climbing back down, he landed beside the drunkard. "You're underage to drink." He pulled out a formula he made for anti-intoxication from his bag and handed the cylindrical test tube to her. "Drink this. It can remove that intoxication of yours."

((Do I? Sorry hehe but I don't really know, though. I'm not really the head mod...))
((Do I? Sorry hehe but I don't really know, though. I'm not really the head mod...))
Pandora looked up to meet Jester's gaze and smiled at him. She felt a sudden rush of wind come and blow back her wet hair drying it. She took it from his hands and laughed a bit. "You make it sound so bad you know. How do you know that I can't handle this on my own?"
Cam wrote: "((Okay, don't worry about it. I'll rp tomorrow. :-D now I'm just gonna lurk and read.))"
((Ok :) sorry though. I just became a mod so I'm not really sureif the head mod's gonna let me))

Her cheeks began to flush when she looked at Jester and was still smiling. "You're kind of cute you know". She twisted the top of the tube and brought it to her lips and drank it. She coughed and shook her head "That tastes awful" she wiped her lips with the back of her hand
"Eight table spoons of coffee minus the oxidation process. It's safe, and thank you for the compliment." He smiled back, retrieving the empty bottle of testube and returning it inside his bag. "You should be fine by now."
"Even when I'm drunk, I can't tell a lie" she smiled back at him. pandora looked up at the sky for a moment and saw the clouds still there, then back at him. "Well, thanks for your help. I'm Pandora" She stook out her hand for him to shake
"Jester," he introduces as he shook her hand. "What happened to you anyway? Didn't your mom told you not to get drunk?"
"Well, she might if she was around" Pandora's light green eyes met his gaze. For a good amount of time, she's been taking care of herself
"Oh. I'm sorry to hear that." Jester doesn't really have the best mother, but already feels like she was very distant to him. So distant that he made himself forget that he ever had a mother.
"It's alright. My dad wasn't around either so I've learned how to take care of myself by now." She says simply. She doesn't usually go into details about her personal most of the time. "And anyway, I felt like getting something to drink tonight, so I stopped by a bar. Nowadays, if you ask nicely for a drink, and you happen to be a girl, they don't say no" Pandora smirks at him
"Yeah, but..." Jester darted his eyes from left to right, making sure no one is listening. "Don't you think it's dangerous? I mean, being a girl. You know. Do you know what I'm talking about?"
"Yeah I do," she stepped toward him and put a hand on his shoulder and smiled. "I can protect myself, so don't worry too much about me. I'm stronger than I look. Do you know what I mean?" She giggled and let her hand slide off his shoulder
Jester stared at her awkwardly. "Ooookay." Focusing back on himself, he remembered about his fruit. Taking a bit of the slice, he offered the other slice to Pandora. "Mango?"
