Gabriel grinned happily. He loved candy. Though he didn't technically need to buy it, because he could make it appear from thin air, he decided it would be nice to try and help out the economy a little bit. So instead pf his usual routine, here he was, in a Wonka store. He roamed, humming softly to himself.

Shard looked at the store. It was pretty but...there were too many people in the store. She hated people. She hated them even more than sunlight. Good thing you're undead cause the people probably hate you too, Shard, She thought to herself before she stepped inside the store, slipping into a corner with the least amount of people.
Gabriel retreated to a corner, picking up a good portion of Sugsr as he moved, until his arms were stacked high with it. His fake mustache sat on his lip, twitching whenever he purposely moved his upper lip. He had just come from the filming of Casa Erotica 7. "If you're watching this, than I'm dead."
Shard looked at the shelves lined with packets, Colourful...why can't I be colourful? She didn't really want anything. She just needed to be somewhere. To exist, that was her job and she hated it.
Gabe turned his head to wink at a group of girls. A couple ignored him. One scoffed. Another blushed. The rest gaped at the bright honey-butterscotch gold of his eyes. Still, he turned away and stepped towards the register.
Shard sighed, there were so many options. She could go rage and cause a scene, No. Just stand there in the isle looking like an idiot. Maybe. Or she could actually be social, talk to someone or buy something. Seriously?

Gabriel turned, seeing a girl looking somewhat hesitant. Being who he was, he strolled over. "Hey, kiddo."
Shard dug her fingernails into her arm to stop herself from jumping.Kiddo? KIDDO?! She turned on her heel to face him, her eyes trained on the ground, "Hi..."
Gabriel couldn't stop himself from laughing. "You here just to stand around or did you actually plan to buy something?" He bit a piece off the end of a Nerds rope.
Ugh, I don't want to talk, Shard though about saying but refused to, "I don't know." She matched her words with a shrug, one that she'd used all her life to get out of talking and anything, really.
Gabriel was not so easily dettered. He lifted his hand, snapped, and the world was sent spiraling out around them into an alternate world.
Shard stifled a gasp by biting her lip. She didn't say anything. Silence and her were great friends, almost never apart...almost.
He hummed his approval of the replicated (though suspiciously empty) candy store. "This will work," he decided, snatching another little treat from one of the shelves and pushing the whatever-it-was in his mouth, whole, without bothering to look what it was after stripping the wrapper.
Shard stared at a tile on the ground, Huh, no cracks or scuffs. She found herself thinking such mundane things while she waited for him to say something or to just leave her in this alternate world. Preferably the first.
Now, Gabriel was not cruel -okay, he was a little cruel- and he liked to watch his tricks play out. Still, he stepped towards the door, briskly, waiting to see if she would follow.
Shard didn't even notice him move. She was staring at the floor intently, as if waiting for it to open and swallow her up. If he left her here, she'd just die here.
"Well? Aren't you going to join me?" Gabriel implored lazily, as though he didn't care. Which he technically didn't but whatever.
"No," Shard replied and kicked at the ground, creating a scuff mark.
Shard spun around, Grr. Have fun? HAVE FUN?! She looked around the empty store, Please, let my death come soon.
Shard sat down on the ground and hugged her knees to her chest. Yes, she was usually tried to appear fearless but she was still just a girl. And a horrible one.
Shard sighed and looked around, You know what? I think I like the real candystore better.
Gabriel snickered at her train of thought. He waited a few more minutes before beginning to walk again.
Shard twirled a knife around in her hand. Not to look menacing or anything, just from habit.
Shard bit her lip, I'm just going to die here...aren't I? She stood up and started walking around the store, Ugh...kill me now.
Shard looked at him, Wait...I didn't say anything out loud...right? She didn't do anything, maybe she wanted to die. Yeah, Death started with a 'D' so...
"Dear Daddy your survival instincts are stunted! Wow kiddo, don't attempt to stay alive or anything."
Maybe I don't want to be alive, Shard half winced and half grimaced at her thoughts. Gee, they had so much more courage than she would ever have. And they were in her head! She couldn't or wouldn't say anything simply because she was shy. Guess it is a curse then.
"Could you BE any more depressive? B-o-ring! C'mon. Jump through some hoops, try to kill me, something interesting!"
Shard looked at him, Uh...like I'm going to do anything. She bit her lip. Nup, she wasn't doing other than sitting.
Gabriel groaned. "Please tell me you're just fucking with me. That this really isn't the only thing you do. Daddy, it's like trying to play with a pet goldfish."

Shard stood up and kicked at the ground, staring at it. Boring? Yeah, she was just like that. Boring.
Gabriel glanced over. "That one." He pointed at Shard. "See, even an alternate universe can't coax a reaction. She just sits there like a lump."
Lump, heh, fits, Shard thought to herself but remained standing there.

Shard blinked, confused at their conversation even though she shouldn't be listening in.
"I don't care quite that much." He popped a lollipop into his mouth. "You see... Luna, right? Right. Well, Luna, this little one is merely pastime."
