I love that Logan finds a picture of Beth on the ground while over seas fighting the war, then ends up falling in love with her. It seems like he was destined to find that picture because they were meant to be together.

Just discovered The Lucky One on DVD and totally loved it! So much in fact that I have watched it again and again, purchased and read the Nicholas Sparks book it is based on - and I like the official soundtrack too.Am tempted to try the other Nicholas Sparks book and movie Safe Haven now -have heard excellent things about that.
Unrealistic... Well, depends... Logan found the pic on the ground when he was running. I'm sure that has happen to everyone. (Finding things) now, he only went looking for her after Victor dies. And it was Victor who believed the pic to be lucky. The walk... Well that was unrealistic.. , but hey, people goes on bike trips all the time. They can walk too. The love story... Wonderful as is expected of Mr. Sparks.
I fell in love with the story though it was very unrealistic, imagine a soldier finds a picture of this lady who was happened to be the sister of his fellow soldier during the war then he came to find this girl and end up falling in love with each other. :)Sparks really did a good job here! :)
I think that it is fate and could happen in real life. Fate is like a road with points in which you have to choose between different paths. Its all planned out, whichever one you go to. Once you choose a path, fate is immediately planned out until the next crossroads. Everything that happened in this book is because people chose their paths which lead to Logan finding the picture. This could happen in real life but its gonna need a lot of people making their decisions the same as the people in the book both major and.kinor
I do believe that this storyline was fate, but highly unrealistic. Sure miracles happen everyday, but I felt that this one was especially to "Hollywood Romance" for my beliefs. Other Sparks books are more relatable to actual life, but I did find myself, like every other time, becoming hopelessly in love with the plot of the book and WISH that it could happen to me!
