My copy of Miss Pettigrew is in storage right now, so I'm listening to the Persephone audiobook read by Frances McDormand...highly recommended!

Trisha | 5 comments Didn't know about Persephone audiobooks! I just love their print copies and those wonderful end papers and bookmarks. Miss Pettigrew was a charming diversion for me -- as I recover from my second knee replacement surgery.

Cynthia Dunn | 41 comments I thought the illustrations were lovely. Sorry about your knee, Trisha. I've started collecting Persephones recently. I love them.

Is anyone else closer to finishing this book? I think the important question is...how many drinks did Miss Pettigrew have over the course of the day? :)

message 8: by Trisha (new)

Trisha | 5 comments loved the names of the drinks! I wonder if they're for real. Maybe I'll check it out.

Rosemary | 86 comments I loved this! Especially the way that Miss Pettigrew goes from strong and forceful to doubting herself so quickly (sometimes helped by the drinks as Gina says!)
