Personality:
She seems like she's got a shallow personality because everyone only ever sees her beauty and money. Because her family is quite rich, people usually only befriend her because of her money. She often buys people's friendships because that's what she's used to having to do. She's starting to rebel against her parent's rules by going wild at flapper parties, even holding some for herself. She's actually a great person full of vitality but it's hidden by how society has treated her.

Other: Keeps up with trends, fashion, and pop culture. She always knows where the nearest speakeasy is and keeps on good terms with a few bootleggers that live close by. With her father being a doctor, she has access to 'meditational' alcohol and is generous with her supplies.

I feel like it really changes the perception and makes the characters seem more realistic...But its also more fun :D

Yeah, and sometimes they can show something about a character that no picture has been able to show.

Her mother agreed with Ruta that setting out for a new life in America would be good, but she wasn't able to come right away. The plan was for her to come out a few months later, but things keep coming up back in Poland that are keeping her away. Ruta took her three younger siblings and came to this town to build their lives.
