He is the man who crashes his car upon entering Storybrooke during the altercation between Captain Hook and Rumplestiltskin. When Greg is brought to the hospital, Emma and the others debate whether to save his life and risk the truth of Storybrooke being revealed to the outside world. When Dr. Whale successfully saves Greg's life, Emma visits Greg and asks him what he saw at the scene of the accident. He tells her that he was looking at his phone and didn't see anything. After she leaves though, Greg calls someone and tells him or her that he is okay and that he or she "won't believe what I saw".
