Has anyone tried the new Sim City ? Watched a few YouTube videos about it and I used to love getting lost at the computer for hours just building a city and then having disasters LOL!!!

I got my beta for the new Sim City and never had time =/ I do plan on getting it soon though!
I played EQ2 last night, our guild is silly just as ever, got this new guy, well 2 new guys, one of them is overly depressed and creeping out me and the other new guy in voice chat all night. Dude... I don't know where to start, I'll have to tell you later, the guy gave me the creeps and sounds like Bozo the clown and started singing to us. So, naturually, because of my overactive imagination, I had a disturbing image going to bed of Bozo the Clown hanging over me, with this demon knife he told me he wanted to make, and singing a song, laughing that creepy laugh he hooted all night... *shivers*

LOLOLOLOL OH MY GOD I'm cracking up.. Well we're off tomorrow due to snowmageddon, gonna have 6-8 inches by the morning supposedly. So maybe I'll log in and chat. :) My subs is out but I can still play in mah house!

I want the new sim city but only if it's like 15$ hahaha!

What would be so awesome is that we actually somehow manage to have the same days off, we need a good EQ2 Mischief Time! hahah

Lots of new items! I forgot to get the Brewday recipes for this year though =( Look what work is doing to me, taking away my liiiife lol

I didn't get the brew stuff either :( I think my mom did, i'll make her make us some shhhtuffs :) Or i'll just ninja her accnt and log in LOL

If she did omghomgomg show me what the new stuff is! I know there are a few new string of lights, but that is it =(( We really gotta play some time soon!

Welllll, Target had the new Sims City on sale for 40$... So I am installing it now =P

I am playing EQ2 right now, forgot how much fun my little monk is. She's kickin butt looking like a fallen angel haha. Got her those blue frostfell wings, she's a purplish tint (darkelf) and is wearing a blue/purple and gold gi, the girlygirl in me is totally out today haha

Oh! And I am making a Barrons Books and Baubles house starting tonight. Going to make my own Chesterfield sofas and stuff too. I wanna get one in on SIMS soon!!!

I originally put it in a Dungeon Maker, so i can put little creatures around the house and outside of it, but they broke the DM not too long ago and too lazy to fix it lol

I remember when I was younger, I played it so much, and the little radio systems you can kick on and it plays songs from RL but in Simmish, I had that on for so long while working on characters I started singing like them lol

It just isn't the same without Saphrine anymore! I invited like 20 new people last week, but everyone is sooooo shy. Except that new guy you finally gotta meet. He's kinda crude and brash lol. Fun, but he is definitely not shy LOL

So...I kinda gave a run down of the games I've played in the intro thread. The only thing I've been playing in recent months is Sims 3, though I did just reinstall Sims 2 a few weekends ago and hope to play that again some too. Gaming has to compete with other things like reading or hanging out on GR or sometimes watching TV though, so whereas I used to be logged on playing most of the evening every night, now I'm pretty sporadic with it.

If anyone's interested, I have a blog going of the family I've been playing in Sims 3. Updates are sporadic since play time is sporadic, but it is still current. Story starts here: http://ndaycompletionchallenge.blogsp... . I've played some over the weekend and on Monday, so hope to have another post up there soon. I have it written since I've been writing as I play to make it easier and more time-efficient, but still need to plug in the pictures before I can upload. Might play just a bit more before I end the update I'm working on too.

LOL. Yeah. Several of the sims in Challengeville come from the challenges that existed at The Sims Resource (TSR) back then. The people that created the challenges gave the sims very punny names :p Ann Chovie, Dan Druff, Bud Wieser, Sonny Day, etc.

I really really love your blog, Nday! Just signed up for updates. You guys are making the temptation worse for me to go out and buy the new Sims, I played the last two to death! Love them so much

It's been a long time since I've played FB games, they are TOO addicting, the hours melt away and before I know it, I have 3 hours left to sleep before work haha

Oh, don't get me started on Facebook/Zynga games. I'd gone cold turkey on all of them, then got sucked into a bunch again for several months. Have myself weaned back down to just Farmville 2 now, but could all too easily give in to a couple of the others again and there would go too many hours of time I wouldn't get back.

Actually though, those games are what got me started with listening to audiobooks some last fall. With as much time as I spent on them, I figured maybe I could be getting some reading done at the same time if I listened to an audiobook while I played. It's not like any of those games really require more than a fraction of your attention. It actually worked pretty well, but I still weaned myself off, cause I'd still spend too much time playing and not listening. Now when I sit and listen to an audiobook I play a match 3 type game (currently Cradle of Egypt) to keep my hands and eyes busy while I listen.
