Mercenary RP discussion

((talk with double parentheses, and, well, RP!))

remus stalked through the woods, his mask giving him terrifying features in the moonlight.

Kerima saw a man with a mask from where she stood in the tree.

Ike and Marth were walking down the road.

remus looked up suddenly and saw kerima. he smiled from under his mask. she looked ruthless.
"come down." he hissed, not daring to raise his mask.

Kerima jumped down out of the tree right in front of him, her long sword in hand.

remus smiled.
"no need for that." he hissed. his voice was scratchy. remus decided to see how kerima would do through The Obstacle.
"come. follow me." he whirled around and started walking.

((i just thought of that off the top of my head.))

Kerima didn't put the sword away she didn't know if she could trust him, but she followed.

when they arrived, remus walked onto a seemingly innoccent path, and immediatly a sword blade sprouted out from where he had just stood. remus walked the whole way through, since the people and creatures that had made The Obstacle knew he had already made his way through it. remus signaled for kerima to follow him.

The road ended at a large cliff. Ike decided to go into the forest. He signalled to Marth to follow. The land was deathly quiet, and suspicious.

Kerima went through with no difficulty in fact it was too easy for her.

remus was surprised. to hide his surprise, he gave a simple grunt.
"nice. now follow me." he led her towards the employment temple. "this is where we can put our skills to the test.' he said simply, then pushed open the door.

inside there were tens upon hundreds of different people. remus led kerima into the employment room.
"two mercenaries, ready for employment." a man said in a bored voice.

Kerima wasn't sure so she just stood there.

Ike saw a temple in the distance.
"Let's go," he said. Marth nodded and sprang away.

a man suddenly clutched kerima's hand.
"i need your assistance! my daughter has been kidnapped!"

remus nodded to kerima.
"i'll go with her." he winked, even though she couldn't see.

Kerima nodded, "Lets go."

teh man sighed in relief.
"my daughter is rumored to be over here, on the island of bandits." he said, pointing out on a map.

remus grabbed kerima by the wrist, then pulled her out of the temple, right into ike and marth. remus drew his sword, startled.

Kerima looked at Remus, "Are we going to save that kid?"

"what do you think?" remus asked, pointing his sword at ike.
"you get the fast looking one. i'll get the strong looking one." remus swung his sword.

Karima pulled out her sword and put it to Marth's neck, "What's your name?"

((right now knuckle's computer isn't letting him go onto goodreads so let's just wait a little before we continue RPing this one.))
remus was engaged in a heated swordfight with ike.

Marth and Ike jumped back.
"Hey!" Marth exclaimed.
"What's your problem?" Ike growled.
They drew their swords.

Ike swung his massive sword at Remus, missed, and cut through a tree instead. Marth sent a barrage of lightning slashes at Karima.

"Who are you?" Karima asked.

remus engaged in a swordfight with ike.

Karima put the sword to Marth's neck, "Answer the question."

"I could ask the same for you," Marth said.

Ike punched remus in the stomach, sending him into a tree. "You watch it, highwayman."

"Highwaymen!" Marth cursed. "Stupid, no-good curs bent on nothing but benefiting off of others."

"Fine, I'm Karima," she said backing Marth up against a tree.

Marth jumped into the tree.

Ike pointed his sword at Remus' throat.
"What do you want, highwayman?" His tone was not pleasant.

remus gasped for aird, then said,
"i'm remus, i'm not a highwayman, i'm a mercenary. kerima, let's go." he said.

Karima jumped in the tree after him.

Ike was surprised. "Mercenary?"

Marth froze.

Kerima jumped from the tree and followed Remus.

Marth jumped from the tree, landing next to ike.
"LEt's see what theyre up to," Marth said. Ike nodded, and they sunk into the woods.

Kerima turned her head and gave them a dirty look.

remus kept on walking. then he paused.
"what are your names?" he asked marth and ike.

Karima jumped in a tree waiting for the answer.

remus just stood there.

"Ike. I'm a mercenary too. This is my friend, Marth, a prince. His kingdom was overrun by enemies and the king is in hostage. We are trying to find a way to help them." Ike said.
Marth nodded.

Karima looked at her feet, she could not believe she tried to kill a prince.

"come with us." remus offered.

Karima jumped down from the tree and nodded.

Marth stiffened. "Let's go," he said to Ike.
Ike looked at them, then at Marth and nodded.
"We'll see you later," Ike said as they walked the other way.

Karima looked to Remus.
