Hufflepuff Common Room
Samantha came into the common room and sat on the comfiest chair that was in front of the fire place.
Carrie slouched beside Samantha in another chair. She stared into the fire yawning.
"this is so comfortable" Samantha said in a daze.
Carrie nodded, eyes beginning to droop.
"Well I'm going to go choose my bed in the dormitory then go to sleep." Samantha said.
"Me too!" Carrie said. She stumbled up the stairs and dropped into a bed near the window.
Samantha chose the bed beside carries.
Carrie pulled the covers up to her chin and yawned noisily.
Carrie fell asleep soon after she heard Samantha's breathing even out.
Samantha suddenly woke up and looked at her watch it was 6 30 am so she crept really quietly out of the room.
Samantha crept down the stairs and into the common room.
Samantha stared at the fire, twiddling her thumbs.
Carrie flipped in her sleep, tangling herself in th blankets.
Carrie snuggled deeper into her blankets.
Samantha decided she was really bored so she started pacing around the common room.
Carrie yawned and stretched. She blinked open her eyes and lay there for a minute.
As samantha was was walking around the room, she ran into a little table. "OUCH!". She started to hop up and down because she stubbed her toe. As Samantha was hopping up and down she fell over with a loud thump.
Carrie jumped in fright when she heard a thump downstairs. "Samantha!" she hissed looking over at the door.
Samantha started rolling around the ground over exaggerating her fall.
Samantha didn't answer. She sat up and looked over at her friends bunk. It was empty. Carrie let out a yelp and quickly scrambled out of bed.
Samantha started laughing quietly to her self, then sheheard Carrie so she stopped laughing and rolling around and kept still with her eyes closed.
Carrie ran down the stairs shouting for Samantha.
Samantha smiled a little but stayed still.
Carrie saw Samantha in the ground and gasped. She grabbed her shoulders and shook her hard. "Hello?!" she shouted in her face.
Samantha was holding. Back her grin. She laid there lifeless.
Carrie slapped Samantha across the face and shook her again.
Samantha held back a grimace from that slap but she quickly regained herself to being lifeless.
Carrie thought she saw some kind of change in her expression. She began to grow slightly suspicious.
Samantha all of a sudden jumped up and pressed Carrie against the ground, then she started laughing.
Carrie pushed Samantha away and stood. "I thought you were dead! But I did see you breathing," Carrie said.
"Hey but you believed it at first, I always knew I should be an actress." Samantha said jokingly.
"Maybe you could," Carrie smiled, shrugging.
"I'm glad you have faith in me" Samantha said while laughing.
Carrie smiled slyly. "But of course, I'm easy to fool. It's be harder with other people," Carrie grinned. All of a sudden she had an idea, eyes widening with excitement.
"What?" Samantha asked noticing her friends face.
"You could pretend to be dead again but in the grand hall at lunch and see if you really can act. It'll be a prank!" Carrie exclaimed.
"Yah that would be so funny, wait, I don't want to get into trouble." Samantha said sadly.
Carrie sighed. "I guess you're right," Carrie said with a frown.
" Although, that hasn't stopped me before." Samantha said with a meicheivous smile on her face.
Carrie grinned. "you'll do it?" she asked excitedly. "If a teacher gets mad we'll say that you're just practicing acting."
"I still don't know, that singing act yesterday was kind of embarrassing" Samantha said
Carrie shrugged. "Well, it is your choice."
"You know you could do it." Smantha said even though she knew what Carreie would say.
"I can't act," Carrie said, horrified at the thought.
"Yah but you did a great job just now" Smantha said.
