Hi everyone. I'm Hector Himeros and I have a new M/M erotic romance novella called Scripted Love. You'll also get printable freebies with every purchase. It can be purchased directly from me at http://www.hectorhimeros.com or at Smahswords.
Scripted Love takes place in alternate timeline when Malaysia is on the brink of revolution. In 2012, the newly elected prime minister, Yusuf Azahari, under the encouragement from his movie director friend (Faisal Ramlee), abolishes all the anti-gay bills.
One of the abolished bills is the GLBT Movie Bill. With that, gay characters in Malaysia movies are no longer required by law to die or to repent. Faisal takes the opportunity to make the perfect gay movie. Faisal recruits a straight actor named Miza Kamal to play the role as a gay-in-denial. Abel Hamid is cast to be Miza's on-screen love interest. However, Miza's heterosexuality prevents him from getting in touch with his gay side. Under the threat that he will be fired, Miza seeks acting guidance from Abel.
The acting lesson takes a surprising turn when Miza realizes that he really has a gay side. Before long, he finds himself in love with Abel, something which Miza previously thought was impossible. However, more and more religious Malaysians condemn homosexuality. Things go out of control when a religious fanatic decides to take matters into his own hand, by blowing up those who he accuses as the culprit of so-called gay epidemic.
Can Miza and Abel's love survive? Can their love triumph over religion-fueled hatred?
OK, a little concerned that this thread is part of an elaborate ploy to get unsuspecting authors to self-promote in order to amass ammunition to complain about how everyone hates authors self-promoting. But, what the hell, I'm self-obsessed enough not to care :)I'd like to shamelessly self-promote my YA M/M short story
which is kind of sweet and sad at the same time (I hope.) And seeing as only 5 of the 10 copies I offered up for free in return for honest reviews have been snapped up so far, I'll quite happily offer these up for anyone who fancies it - feel free to pm me.

Bleak Woods is my self-published debut M/M erotica novel - released in February 2013. This supernatural mystery erotica ends with twist ending. If you like unpredictable plots and are not afraid of steamy gay details, you must read Bleak Woods. It has 64,000+ words and costs only $5.99. With every purchase, you'll receive printable freebies: bookmarks, paper diorama, pen-holder calendar.
In 1744, something terrible took place in a British colonial town in America called Norcross. Charles Carleton, a respected townsman, was caught having sex with his stableman, John Brillhart. The priest of Norcross, Father Phelps, decided that Carleton had committed the most hideous crime ever recorded in human history: sodomy, which was punishable by death according to the Bible. Fearing that their beloved town would become the next Sodom and Gomorrah, Carleton was decapitated. After he died, his soul held a deep grudge and turned into the Headless Horseman of Norcross.
In 2012, a gay journalist named Neal Lucas was lost found himself waking up naked in Bleak Woods, a mysterious forest shunned by the locals. The Headless Horseman threatened him to find his lost head. In Neal's quest to find the head, he uncovered gruesome facts about what really happened in Norcross hundreds of years ago. What secret lay between the Headless Horseman and Neal which was separated by hundreds of years?
The main characters from BleakWoods:
http://www.goodreads.com/author_blog_...
Neal Lucas - a gay reporter who finds himself trapped in Bleak Woods
Borden Callahan - a sexy woodchopper who lives near Bleak Woods

Edward Branson - a mysterious man who seemed to know a lot about the Headless Horseman of Norcross' past

DISCLAIMER: All related arts of Bleak Woods are designed by me. I'm also available for cover art commissions.
I am starting work on the fifth of the
Boys of
series of Zack novels, featuring American Gil Graham and Brit Mike Smith, so it seems like a good moment to summarise the series to date. Of the first book one reviewer said:“This is not a one of those M/M stories written by women for women. This is the voice and art of a legendary gay male writer for a gay male audience which represents wonderfully reckless exploration of maleness from the view of two manly, adventurous youths of a time when guys could be committed to each other in their young love while taking advantage of the freedom of the gay life at this brief period in time.”
But women seem to have found the books irresistible too. Goodreads M/M Romance author Summer Michaels said:
“I love it! The pictures are so well drawn and beautiful, I couldn’t wait until the next one came along. Zack is a very talented man.”
And Goodreads M/M Romance author Casey Cox:
“I loved this tale of a young American boy thrown into the hustling world of an Italian movie set. Poor Gil is so naive and innocent but life comes pounding on his back door (literally as well as metaphorically) in this great book.”

Gil Graham wanted a job in movies, but when—in the year of 1980—he enters the offices of James Rosen, one of Hollywood’s toughest new-style movie producers, he gets more than he bargained for. The innocent young American is catapulted into the center of the intrigues of a horny crew shooting a movie in Rome. In this fast-paced story hungry guys abound, all wanting a share of the handsome newcomer. Gil soon discovers that he has a lot of what the hunky young men working on the film want. The glamorous—and sometimes not so glamorous—movie business forms the backdrop to this carnal tale acted out in Rome’s sultry streets—Vice City where everything is for sale. But by the end Gil finds something more valuable than a career: true love.

Escaped from movie mogul James Rosen's depraved clutches, American Gil Graham and Mike Smith—the boyfriend he fell in love with in Rome—head for London to set up home. To Gil, the London of 1980 is at first a puzzling place, but jobs at Pinewood film studios and a fine apartment in a leafy suburb promise good times and cement their love for each other. Mike introduces Gil to the hectic joys of giant disco Paradise. Hot backroom action, cruising Hampstead Heath, gladiatorial combat, and a porn-movie shoot are all part of Gil and Mike's adventures. But can the idyll last once Rosen turns up, bent on revenge? A wild trip to New York climaxes with a brutal showdown that threatens the lovers' future—and Gil's life. Can Mike summon the courage to sacrifice what he holds dearest?

Cruelly split to escape a deadly threat from Hollywood tycoon James Rosen, bitter Gil Graham and guilt-ridden Mike Smith are forced to rebuild their lives, continents apart. Only work—and plenty of exciting but vicarious sex—stop their loveless lives falling apart. How can either of them possibly cope without their lost friend and soul mate? While Mike endures Rosen’s vicious attentions in London, Gil chases solace in fleeting encounters in Venice Beach and Los Angeles. Then fate strikes in a surprising way—and suddenly Mike is free to pursue the dream of reuniting with his wronged buddy. If he can find him... Seemingly insurmountable obstacles face his desperate quest as he strives to make the boys of two cities lovers in one.

Reunited with Mike Smith in London, Gil Graham attempts to pursue his career in movies through writing scripts, while Mike’s younger brother Will pursues Gil with all the guile and determination he possesses in abundance. Mike has his own problems when teenage heartthrob popster turned movie star Nathan Cliffe turns his off-screen performance into an erotic dance for Mike’s heart—and something below his belt. What can Mike do? When the star commands he must obey. Gil isn’t happy, the movie brat comes between them, and it’s not helped by Mike’s teasing when Gil sells a script—for an unlikely project. Against the frantic backdrop of London’s gay scene, Gil and Mike must confront the strains that ambition, work, and outright jealousy place on their hard-won love. Will they be up to the challenge or will the frenzy of temptation tear them apart forever?
Boy of the West End – spring 2014
In 1975, Mike Smith is a happy enough kid, but he’s also confused. Popular with his school fellows, Mike knows what he likes really makes him an outsider. A happenstance meeting as a member of a TV studio audience for Britain’s top pop chart show sends him cartwheeling into the sordid depths of London’s rent trade. In his search for a soul mate and eternal friend, Mike cruises through an underworld that leaves him almost broken in the gutter. And then he falls into the hands of movie mogul James Rosen and Mike leaves his teenage years bought and paid for as he heads to Rome with a sound crew to shoot a Rosen movie there. Three weeks into the schedule, a new gofer arrives. A young American with shining hair called Gil Graham, and Mike Smith’s life changes forever.

Small Change by Danni Keane
Dom Gibson loves life at Little Lexington. The model village provides him with everything he needs: calm, constancy, and the opportunity to paint his beloved miniatures. The only thing that comes close to shaking Dom's peaceful world is vivacious purple-haired train driver Riley, until the predictability of village life is shattered by unusual goings-on. Maybe working together with Riley to uncover the identity of the mysterious Little Lexington Meddler will help Dom realize that a small change can be a wonderful thing.

I wish to protest on behalf of Boyd. he's right, he's too gorgeous (prehensile tongue aside) to kick out, so instead, in a desperate attempt to save Boyd and make Gabbo a deserved BOM winner I say all complainers must…Vote for Gabbo's Immaterial
I'm hoping Roger is not a cat person and is simply using me as an excuse to get rid of the dog hahahahahaa.
Cats adore me, Gabbo, but I'm indifferent to feline attention. This dog agreed to take part in the promotion as long as no animal was harmed in the making of it. Besides which, he's longing for a meet with Gorgeous Boyd…

I'm afraid what I will be doing between this moment and 2015 is stalking (at a minimum, in my fevered dreams) a certain someone who recently called me baby and sent me hugs and kisses. And is talented enough in other ways to have almost matched my font. And has the practical good sense to revise my ETA. Truly, the dam is broke, I am lost!
There WILL be a very naughtily angelic character based on you, sweetie, in vol. 2.
<3
@Gabbo... or a Fallen One groan (cf. Mephisto, in Faust II, by Goethe natch, upon Faust's soul being carried off by the angels, I kid you not he is defeated by the sight of their wiggling buns). @EyeCandy... The proof, as Goethe might have said (but didn't, alas), ist im Pudding. I don't mind if you let it stand... no, I insist. It's rather pretty, I'm contemplating what might yet come of it.
@DivineManagement... If you're going to let your pet imp run wild and loose, I too demand a fetching title. And a sturdy butterfly net.
@Goesta, watch the blandishments eye candy brandishes, he's just setting you up to employ his considerable muscular hydrostat on you!
The gorgeous green eyed candy imp is uber talented and his *ahem * font is very fetching so he is allowed to roam free working his teasing magic on all and sundry. Butterfly nets are rentable by the hour and you oh wondrous one don't need a title ... You are the awesomely unique GOESTA so you get bold fetching font!
I must keen(ing)ly concede that Roger is a bolder font of wisdom than I so that I do not deserve having a strong, thick fount used on me. I, Candide, just wend my way across my garden across stiff stalks, irresistibly drawn by the brightest flower, and catch nothing but flies.
Like one of these (note the fetching head dress, as well as the outsized anatomical hydrostat, which I have learned today is not in fact, as I'd surmised, a lithe brat's healthy tear duct, employed to extract another Porsche from his sugar Kane.)

My utter lack of graspable sense is a fair indication that I am either mooning or writing, probably both. So I suppose I should thank someone for applying his cattle prod to my tender impulses.

Oooh, the description sounds like a throw-back to some classic pseudo-Roman erotica I read once. Not Phil Andros, I don't think, but that era. Love the pulp-y layout. Hawt!
No pseudo-Roman here! All up-to-date techno slaughter. The insides are as pulpy as the exterior. Unfortunately, due to lordly rules etc, can't show too much but here's a taste of some of the more sedate drawings from the pen of Zack…[image error]

That's the one, I was distracted by the etched (stylistically speaking) beauties. Besides, nowadays "Upstairs?" seems regrettably to suffice. Or, at a pinch, "Wanna come?" Language is the poorer, kids don't know what an etching is...
Probably think I'm referring to the tattoo of Tasmanian Devil on their ankle, or the perfect ridge of their gym-sculpted whatever. *wallows in faded, delightless memories*
My short story Not Letting Go has been nominated for June BOM over at the YA LGBT group. Not wishing to influence anyone's vote at all {Danni coughs wildly} but just to let you know that not an awful lot of people vote on the poll so any one vote can make a big difference.
Oh, and also again not wishing to influence anyone {sound of more coughing} the other two books Not Letting Go is up against are both books by real, proper authors and everyfink, so a vote for my story is a vote for the underdog and would be hugely, hugely appreciated.

I mean seriously Danni, bestest literary friends and all, but how can I not vote for something called "Aristotle and Dante discover the Secrets of the Universe"?? Well, bafflingly, I didn't. ;)Not Letting Go is a deeply touching, crystalline... oh heck, just read my gushing review & vote for it, or I'll set überbeefy Dr. Jock on 'ya!
