Regan Walker (regansromance) Hi all my Bodice Ripper friends! I am updating my Best Scottish/Highlander Historical Romances list on my blog (http://reganromancereview.blogspot.co...) for a post in May, and would love to feature some great bodice rippers.

Can you recommend a bodice ripper set in Scotland or with a Scottish hero?

Wow, thanks Mermarie! Some of these are on my existing "best" list but I'll add the others to my "to read" list!!

Mermarie, a few of these are expensive to acquire used, but I've added 4 or 5 to my list to acquire. Unfortunately several are no longer available in print, nor are they eBooks. Wish they'd bring these good ones back!

The cost of these old treasures shocks me to death; and a lot of the ones I've acquired are from the Goodwill, at .50 cents a piece. I cannot afford Ebay/Amazon.com, with $5.00 flat rate shipping, for a book that costs $1, if I'm even lucky.

I added another:

My Wicked Enchantress by Meagan McKinney (Heroine is Scottish). :)

Ah yes, Mermarie, My Wicked Enchantress is on my list. You might want to look at the list I'm updating. Here's the link: http://reganromancereview.blogspot.co...

Sweet, finally got your site and took a gander at that list. I'll use it as a reference in the future, too.

Stop me if you're aware of this list, but it was a first google, and may contain a few we were unaware of:

Mermarie,
this Goodreads list is also my list, however, since I posted it on Goodreads others have dumped books into it that I would never rate 4 or 5 stars. And I am NOT a Garwood fan (too much fantasy and improbable elements).

I found this one:

GOLDEN ROGUE by Anne Moore

I'm not entire sure it's a bodice ripper, or worthy of reading, but it's first print was 1986. I may purchase it sometime and take a look myself.

Mermarie,
I would be happy to read this one but could not find it used on Amazon.
