*watches her run, disgusted look on face* "Moron. Why can't anyone get to the point of what they want?"
The girl heard this and spun around. "I wanted to see what you were capable of! But apparently I shouldn't waste my time with someone like you!"
The girl slipped her way into the open window. "Mr. Holmes, I don't care if you want impress me. But let me introduce myself before I leave. I am Elizabeth Adler."
*looks at Elizabeth's clothes appraisingly* "You are dressed well but hastily, showing that you do, in fact, have some interest in seeing me. Your skin is flushed, it's a snappy night but it;s warm in the flat and you've been sitting here for some minutes, so your business is urgent. You may pretend anonymity but i can read you like my book."
*looks over at John* "Oh, yes, him too. This is John. I see you've met. Now, on to business." *walks around Elizabeth* "As previously stated, you are well dressed. You come from the upper part of London, i can see it by the label of your jacket, a popular brand of a fine-dress shop there. However, your hair is down and rather ruffled; you came by cab and the window was rolled down. You don't mind people seeing who you are, which means you're at least somewhat narcissistic or very self assured. So you have class, money and probably upbringing, but you've come to the only consulting detective in the world. So, it is a unique case or at least to you, or else you're just fond of visiting unique people. You, Miss Elizabeth, could not be more obvious." *walks carelessly towards table and picks up tea cup, taking a sip and ignoring her* "This is Earl Gray, John."
"You are wrong on so many accounts. May I begin?" She looked at him with a smug look. "I came here by foot and have been outside on rooftops looking for you so I may make a survey about you. I do not wish to consult you. Now about the unique people, I do not care who I see. I d mind when people see me when I am trying to...get around. But back to me being Irene Adler's sister, try guessing again."
*smirks* "Your denial is amusing. I am not in need of publicity or the commonwealth's "survey's". And I can guess. You, Miss Elizabeth, can only be the travelling novelist and adventuress. you seek thrills along with your work, and enjoy being smug about it." *raises eyebrows* "Now, pray, tell me how i am wrong THIS time?"
"I do not work. I travel with Irene. Thrills I must admit I enjoy, and well I am not making my survey for the public."
*shrugs* "Boring. Enjoy your work, miss Elizabeth, but i repeat i am not in need of being surveyed. Have a cream tea on me when you go."
"You may think so , Sir, but by all accounts you must be surveyed for my sake. Or at least my mother's sake." Elizabeth pulled back her hair with a satisfied smile.
"And why on earth would i take any interest in your mother? Do please stop your attempt at mystery...it is only annoying and wastes time. Pray come to your point, Miss Adler."
"I wish to get to know my father from what my mother has told of him for myself." She looked at a picture of a woman on Sherlock's side table.
"Because it wasn't four years ago. You should be in your early forties by now right? Well it was sixteen to seventeen years ago." Elizabeth gave him a look that told him she knew how long ago Irene and him truly met.
*looks at her as if she's mad* "Miss Adler and I met some years ago shortly before i was forced to fake my death. you are mistaken."
((London 16-17 years ago...Lets just say it had to do with her do something for a mysterious man named Moriarty while he worked on a case that mingled with what she was doing))
*resumes cool air* "Madame, so far you have not proved yourself the diplomat your mother was. If you would please come to your point, I and my teacup shall both be grateful."
"Fine, I shall leave. But Irene is coming inside the moment I leave. I know the sound of the horse she rides. Au Revior." And then Elizabeth climbed out the window.
