"Be careful here, it gets slippery." He warned as he edged around a boulder into the entrance of the cave.
Glenda held onto whatever she could incase she slipped, "okay," she whispered as she focused on not falling.
Jett stopped and turned to look at her as he stood just inside the mouth of a eater large but relatively dry cave.
"thank you Jett! This means a lot to me!" Glenda called to Jett as he left. She found a dark place in the cave and sat down to wait.
Gildor was sitting against the entrance to the cave, looking out over the scene, he'd follow them all the way to the cave, properly covering their tracks he'd heard them in the cave and decided to keep watch, he watched the guy walk past him and casually said "Don't slip" leaning back against the wall to look up at him
Jett startled and almost fell. He managed to catch himself on the rock though. He looked over at Gildor with wide eyes. "How'd you do that?" He asked with awe.
Gildor smiled at looked him over, "do what?" he asked, he did a few things, so he didn't know which he was referring to, he stood up slowly and offered his hand to help steady Jett in case he was still a little startled
Gildor smiled at his look, he hadn't had this effect on anyone in a few years, "I know, I thought she should get some rest, I covered our tracks so no one will find your cave, she may as well take use of the peace and quiet" he smiled and moved in between Jett and the edge so he wouldn't fall
Glenda sat in the cave, starting to feel bored. She glanced around and realized it was deeper. She stood up and adventured deeper into the cave.
Gildor followed Jett into the cave and noticed Glenda wasn't there, "how deep are these caves?" he asked thinking she had gotten bored
Glenda felt along the cave wall so she wouldn't get lost in the dark. She had already forgotten which way she had came from, but she didn't care. She placed a hand in her stomach and ran her thumb over it gently, it didn't feel any different yet, but she new the baby was in there.
Gildor sighed, he'd trained a little in hunting through caves, but he didn't know enough to get in and out with her, it was one of the topics he hadn't started yet, "well, I'm going to have to get her, do you know these caves at all?"
Gildor looked at the dark tunnel, "well then you wont help, I'll be back as soon as I can" he said as he began walking towards the tunnel, he didn't mind sounding harsh but he didn't want to put Jett in danger if he didn't have to
Glenda was getting a bit tired and sat down. She looked around her and only saw darkness; she had no idea which way was out. She wasn't afraid though, because she knew someone would come looking eventually.
Gildor frowned into the darkness, it was true, Gildor didn't know anything about the caves while Jett did, but Gildor didn't want Jett to get stuck in the caves as well, "you just said you only knew a little of it"
"So I won't go into the parts I don't know." Jett retorted. "I had to go in them the first time you know, it's not like I'm going to get lost as soon as I don't know them."
Gildor turned around and looked at Jett, "fine, but don't come crying to me if you do get lost" he said turning back into the darkness and moving forward
Gildor disappeared into the shadows and moved behind Jett, "I'm sure you'll figure something out" he said calmly, he was never good with smart asses but he did know how to freak people out
Jett stuck his tongue out in Gildor's direction. "Meanie. I don't get how Glenda likes you." He muttered and crossed his arms.
Gildor reappeared next to Jett with a smile, "neither do I, but I like her too" he thought about his past and everything he'd done with Glenda and couldn't really think why anyone would like him, "I have a nice Hut" he said still smiling
Gildor looked at him, "and what's so bad about Hut's?" he asked wondering what he'd meant by that, Gildor had lived in a medieval-like pride all his life, castles, royalty, formalities and his hut were most of what he knew about common living
"Their like, shacks right? Run down and stuff. They aren't houses or anything nice like that." Jett said.
Gildor felt a little insulted, "you know kid, I don't think you'd last three days out camping, how could you have possibly explored this cave" he asked genuinely curious, he looked Jett over and knew he wasn't made for the things Gildor had trained for, so he obviously had other skills and Gildor was slowly becoming interested in what they might be
Gildor flicked him on the ear, "what are you doing?" he scolded, he knew he was manifesting but he didn't know why and he didn't want to have to deal with a naked kid running around in a cave when he turned back, "get serious, we need to find Glenda"
Jett finished manifesting and snapped at Gildor. "You're a jerk." He said and sped away in his draki form.
Gildor sighed, he didn't know how to deal with kids his age, little kids and people his age he could handle, but there always seemed to be something about that age he had troubles with, he followed Jett's tracks and hoped he was heading for Glenda
