How believable did you find the book? Were the characters believable? What about Milo's form of OCD? Emma while on her journey back home?

This book is griping if you're interested in different types of mental illness. This is the first time I've found a book about a person who is intelligent and functional despite suffering from an obsessive-compulsive disorder. I found it fascinating and original. Another of my group members mentioned Monk. I loved that show and the books tied into him. I got my family involved in it too, so it's something we all enjoy.
I think Emma's character could have been way more developed. She describes trauma- essentially PTSD, and years of therapy with still seemingly a lot of work left. But then she will suddenly go back home with a complete stranger after only knowing him for an hour, and never shows any signs of distress during the journey home. Yes, the story is much more focused on Milo at this point, but it didn't really have to be- some of the (way too many) words could have been devoted to Emma.
