Another riddle is here (prize remains the same unless the same person wins!). Using 6 letters - first letters of words - you can create the first half of a famous book title.
A man of what fortune must be in want of a wife,
Since the author doth say so, her last name well known,
As the ladies drink tea; drink it hot, drink it first,
And Tahereh Mafi’s debut from the nest hath flown.
To be or not to be?
That is the question, yet
Why is the answer; hard to find?

That was fantastic, by the way!
Elevetha guessed correctly!!
The answer was THE GREAT GATSBY:
- A man of what fortune must be in want of a wife = a man of GOOD fortune (G)
- Since the author doth say so, her last name well known = author of Pride and Prejudice where the quote came from = Austen (A)
- As the ladies drink tea; drink it hot, drink it first = (T)
- And Tahereh Mafi’s debut from the nest hath flown = Shatter Me (S)
- To be or not to be? That is the question, yet = (B)
- Why is the answer; hard to find? = y is the answer (Y)
A new riddle will be up soon!

A new riddle will be up soon!
This book title is made up of TWO WORDS.
The first word is made up of NINE letters. It's riddle is in BOLD.
The second word is made up of FIVE letters. It's riddle is in ITALICS.
The surname of the man who spoke of the sacred river,
And ran through caverns measureless to man.
The boy who lived hath come to die,
To save those he loves whilst he can.
“You sir, are no gentleman,”
Who was the gentleman in question?
An eye for an eye would be the next step --
That’s simply a suggestion.
Eleanor and Marianne sat together,
Their tale not ostentatious at all.
Sipping tea by the fireplace,
Don’t let the teacup fall!
“Maybe ever'body in the whole damn world is scared of each other,”
Or so the story goes.
“Which road do I take?”asks the little girl,
With a bow in her hair and shoes on her toes.
The owner of the bell jar beckons,
Her name a fitting close.
The holiday that brings tidings of comfort and joy,
Invades your senses and your heart.
She has written with the darkest minds,
Whose musings ever stop and start.
A surname which brought us magic, love and,
The 36th best Scottish school.
Could compete with Charles Dickens’ classic tale,
Of lads forced to beg for gruel.
Their last name a month, these four sisters’ tale,
Has a title sure to make you laugh and wail.
GOOD LUCK!!

(new)
The last part of the riddle was really easy for me, (I knew everything referred to) the first part was really tricky.EDIT: AAAH. I just figured out why one of the letters is the letter it is!!!!!
Nope, i just can't seem to get it. It seems that i don't have the makings of a Gollum/ Smegol - oh dear!
If I were in a cave with Gollum, I would be eaten by now.
I can only figure out a few.. Some of the books they are referring to I have never even heard of! Or maybe I'm just misinterpreting >.<
I won't cheat, but I'm screwed when I only use my head. Half of these titles I've never even heard of.. Merp. Maybe I'll have better luck with the next riddle.
No. 5 of them are, for sure. 1 is new. 1 is not a classic but from a while ago. The rest I just guessed the letter based off of the clue or what would fit the title for the letters I had already.
Probably, if you consider the answer to:The boy who lived hath come to die,
To save those he loves whilst he can.
A classic. Most would I suppose.
Leyah wrote: "But it wouldn't if you were checking the title existed?"Based off the clues given , how on earth would you guess a title of the book you didn't know existed??? That doesn't make any sense.

Saint Anything (other topics)A Christmas Carol (other topics)

In order to find these letters, I have created the following riddle for you all (by myself :)):
The first of the force that lifts leaves and moves ships.
Put next the first of C.C Hunter’s third.
Added to tea, it does go well,
And the fourth is a ‘h’ (no lies do I tell!)
The beginning of the treats that Easter brings.
Plus the first letter of the last name of The Queen Herself –
whose Facebook page is much deserved!
And don’t forget I, does the answer spring?
Under the something Sky, take the first,
Gee, I hope this riddle works!
The bookworm who unravels the book title will receive:
- Poison by Bridget Zinn
- Midnight Surrender
- The Diviners by Libba Bray
