What books were laugh out loud funny?!

I am actually interested in finding some funny books. Thinking about it I don't read very many books that are just a fun good time. Most of the time books end up making me cry! LOL I want to laugh. The only ones I can think of are adult chick lit like Sophie Kinsella. Lover her books! And Sh*t My Dad Says.

I haven't read this tho. but people says it's a funny read. try it out!

Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams and Louise Rennison books are hilarious.

I agree that Meg Cabot is laugh out loud funny. I'd love to read some new funny books...please share your thoughts.

I remember always laughing out loud at the Hex Hall series while I was reading it a couple years ago. Sophie was really funny.

When I saw the title funny books I was thinking about Sophie Kinsella's books especially "I've got your number" but then I saw that you read them. Generally I can't think of any books that are spesifically funny in YA genre. But I laughed so much when I read The Bloodlines series by Richelle mead, I still do actually, her style is generally funny. Also Harry Potter books make me laugh whenever I read.

I havent read any funny books from cover to cover, but I've read afew with some funny parts like I'm still reading it.

I read the series quite a while ago but i'm pretty sure i remember it having its share of funny moments :)

It's not specifically YA but it's just gorgeous. 'Magnus Opum' by Jonathan Gould. Absolutely hysterical, there are animals (called borse) with two legs shorter than the others do they can only stand on hills. But it still has a moral message. If you like random humour and hobbit like beings, definitely give this one a try. The authors other books are also extremely funny. :)

I'm not sure but I think the Maximum Ride series was pretty funny. I just can't remember if that's true, lol!

Alyxandra Harvey's The Drake Chronicles

I just finished and it made me laugh and I always had a smile on my face. Quick wit humor for sure.

Yeah, right. Sophie is really funny. One of my favorite characters. I just love her sarcasm and wit.

The Prisoner of Snowflake Fall, oh my gosh. The first night I read it I had to keep stopping over and over to tell people what had made me laugh!

Definitely not YA, but had tears rolling down my face in one part.

Also, if you are interested in fantasy, try the Lumatere Chronicles This is the first book. Its an endearing read. But a lot of parts are filled with witty dialogues.

Was I the only one laughing throughout Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell?

I do agree The Mortal Instruments series (and also The Infernal Devices series) have banter and retorts that make you giggle.

I loved Fangirl, and like you said it had lots of funny parts. But mostly when I think of it, it makes me feel warm and fuzzy,.

Fangirl also made me laugh or maybe it was snort at the humor. :)

The Cinder series made me laugh! Mostly Cress

I'm reading Cress right now. Actually listening. Not laughing much yet

I find a lot of Chick Lit books laugh out loud funny. Many times I have been reading one and chuckled at the antics of the characters.

Yeah, Hex Hall is hilarious.
Also Stephanie Perkins and her books are funny or Kate Daniels and her wit!
And - My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century by Rachel Harris is sweet and funny book.
