Omg so Zoe shows up at the end and I wanted to kill her! I know Sydney kindof brought it on herself but this is going to ruin everything! I am disliking Zoe from the very beginning!

IKR? Im really wary of her being in the story now. Personally I think Zoe will rat sydney out to the alchemists to try and get ahead. really, its inevitable. :((

I think Zoe might surprise us. Im certian that she will find out but I think she might just bite her tongue and keep it a secret.

I don't really know what to think of Zoe, maybe she will be a problem but maybe she isn't as brainwashed as Sydney was at the beginning and won't make any trouble.

I think Sydney might try to manupilate her in good intentions to make her way of thinking about the alchemists and get her onto her side. Maybe.

Zoe's there because of Sydney's father. Now that he thinks that Sydney had a healthy interest in Ian, I'll bet he is hoping her new found standing with the Alchemist is just the thing Zoe needs to be the new and improved 'Sydney'...

I don't know how Zoe will react to her finding things out. I think Sydney will do good by taking Zoe to the Royal court or to her friends for frequent visits. It's vital for Sydney to show Zoe that the Vamps are not what they are made out to be by the alchemists.

But then again, I don't know how Zoe will react to all of it... If she can spend some 'forced time' with Jill it would be a blessing - since they are the same age. :)

I don't like Zoe. She is trying too hard to impress her father. She is a goody two shoes. I dont know why she is so excited to become an Alchemist. Ugh I just dont like her.

she's going to mess everything up. she's been upset with her sister for soo long for taking her spot on the field. it's so obvious she wants to prove herself. and judging by the father she was raised by, i think she'll still prove herself a "worthy and honorable alchemist" even if her sister's in the way. she'll rat sydney out...
ugh. i have this crazy paranoid feeling that she was sent on a mission from Stratton to uncover Sydney- what she's hiding, why she's acting fishy..

I feel like Zoe is just going to bring negative energy to everything. She is definatley bad news.

Yes, I definitely agree! I have a bad feeling about Zoe, and just went everything was going really well for Sydney! For goodness sake! But this will certainly make for interesting reading in Fiery Heart!

Zoe knows her sister. Everyones like "OMG! ZOE? WHAT THE HELL, GO AWAY." but, no. I think she's like Sydney and she will see them for what they are. And, even if that is not true, she wouldn't rat out Syd. I have always liked her, (She reminds me of me) and she wouldnt ruin this, knowing how Syd is. Syd probably eont even let her find out. So you guys should chill out. Really. Zoe will not be a threat. You may all think she is, but definitely not. She is going to pose problems, sure, but oh well. Everyone in these books always do. Okay. Sorry. Just think about that, please.

I'm happy that Zoe's there because you can tell re-uniting and making up with her made Sydney really happy. I am extremely worried about her being there too obviously, because it'll be basically impossible for Sydney to hide her secrets and she's obviously going to cause a lot of problems (intentionally or not). But I think you guys are sort of being immature "hating" her already when you don't even know almost anything about her character XD

I honestly don't know what to make of Zoe being there. I don't know her character well enough to be deciding it I like her or hate her yet (thought The Fiert Heart tweets that penguin did a few days ago make her seem bad) so I'll just have to wait and see. I just hope she doesn't hurt Sydney in any way. Sydneyn loves her sister and if... Yeah, I'm not going down that road.

I never expected Zoe to show up at the end but when she did I was so angry. Everything Sydney had just done is about to be ruined. I can't wait to read the next book to see Sydney put Zoe in her place.

I agree. After what we were all waiting for Sydney to do ;) Zoey shows up. Can't wait till the next book comes out to see how that will affect Sydney and Adrian's relationship. I don't want Adrian's heart broken again.

Ugh I did NOT like Zoe, she freaked out on her sister for the smallest thing, and then all of a sudden was just like "ooh lets be best friends now just cause you said I'm going to be a good alchemist!" I can totally see her turning in Sydney and Adrian. Also I hope that Zoe gets together with the new guardian so he stays away from Jill and Eddie and Jill can be together

I'm with the majority that don't trust Zoe. I'm thinking that because she is tired of always being left out Zoe feels she has to prove herself even more. I think she's not going to easily forget that Sydney took this job right out from under her.So if a chance arises that she can be better than Sydney (by tattling on her)I think she'll take it. I was so excited at the end that Sydney was finally giving in to Adrian. Darn Zoe.She ruins everything. She is not starting out on a good foot in my book.

I think Zoe needs to spend some time with them (without Sydney) so that she will see that they aren't so bad. And does anyone else think that Zoe might possibly fall for Neil or one of the characters?? Because it seems like everyone has a love interest.

I think she'll either come around eventually like Sydney did or totally betray Sydney and the rest of them in some way. Like if she found out about Adrian and Sydney I could see her exposing it to the Alchemists.

So right now I'm on the fence about her, I really think it could go either way but I'm leaning more towards her doing some shady, messed up stuff to her sister to try and impress their father and the Alchemists. Poor kid is just utterly brainwashed.

Totally noticed. PROUD OF ADRIAN <3 That would be likely...if Neil loosens up at least a little

I really hope that Zoe will probably be a nice character or at least won't tell on them. i don't really want to see her as a threat syney and adrian's relationship.

I just thought it was kinda much to ALREADY HATE HER GUTS considering she's just a plot device and she hasn't actually done anything yet LOL.
It'll definitely be interesting to see which direction her character takes in the next sequence.

Sydney and Adrian are finally together and now Zoe is here!!!!!! Ugh I hope Zoe doesn't find out even though deep down I know she will eventually.

Well, either because Sydney's dad doesn't trust her or because Richelle Mead just love to toy with us readers. Making us happy and then just slam the door shut again. Besides she had announced that the ending of Fiery Heart is kind of 'devastating' for lack of a better word lol.

This book is going to be one hell of a ride! As Sydney and Zoe are literally at opposite ends of everything involving their lives. Still there might be hope for Zoe yet. Don't forget that even Sydney had to go through a lot to see the 'error' in her cloudy judgement of the Evil Creatures of the Night.

I don't want to give her a chance. I just want her out! Either stabbed or just goes somewhere else.

Holy hell, I wanted to cry. I can't wait for The Fiery Heart because i'm so scared for Syd and Adrian. ZOE HOW COULD YOU!! But I understand as a younger sister she wants to prove to Sydney how she will handle being an Alchemist but seriously they aren't as close anymore and it makes me wonder how this situation will play out.

Richelle Mead already said there were major plans regarding Zoe, so if Sydney does end up in the Re-education facilities Zoe might very well be the one to send her there. Zoe is more like their dad then they want to admit...
