Oh, I agree. It was a brilliant film, and those special effects were fantastic.
I haven't seen it yet, and I wasn't sure if I really wanted to after the first movie let me down so much, but I guess I do want to see how they do this one. The book was really good though, and I really liked it!
Want to watch! So many friends of mine have watched and I've gotten mixed reviews: "Awesome!", "Never watch...", "It's ok", "So good". But overall I'm looking forward to seeing it! (someday) :)
I just went and saw it yesterday. It was okay, I guess. :P I haven't read the book in a while, so I don't remember a lot of details, but even so, I noticed a lot of changes. I was prejudiced by reading the books first; otherwise, I might have enjoyed it a lot more.
They stupid skipped the guinea pig scene, apparently >:(*unhappy*
Still plan on seeing it . . . someday.
Lol! I would, and it would be long, but I'm not sure how to set up the spoiler thingy, and I don't want to ruin it for anyone else. xD

Haha, it's okay; I'm going to watch it anyway, and then I'll have plenty to rant about . . .
Cool! Now I can add spoilers to things! :D Thanks, Johanna. We can rant together. Lol. Then maybe it won't be so bad. xD
IT WAS SO BAD IT WAS THE WORST MOVIE IN THE HISTORY OF EVER AND UGH. >.<
Yup... I was sitting with my friend, and we just stared at the screen of the while time, except when we were giving each other incredulous looks.
My brother saw it, too, and about halfway through he had pulled out a handheld game. Apparently he couldn't take it anymore, lol.
I saw it with my two best friends, one of them is seventeen and has never read the books and he kept staring at me. Half way through he went "Is the book this bad?" and my other friend just kind of sobbed a little.
It was preeety bad.
We screamed in agony the whole time.

I'm gonna be all, "But they can't -- But in the books -- But it was different -- How could they -- What -- Annabeth, no -- And Percy --" *facepalm*

That was me. THAT WAS SO ME. I did that. All. The. Way. Through.
I just about left when they found out Silena. And when Kronos ate Luke. That was... Extremely disappointing.

Arghh i was really disappointed with this film. I know people who haven't read the book would love it and it would be good movie. But for the reader .. Just arghh! Nothing followed the book
