I'm not sure where else to post this so I'm tossing it here in the Member's Corner. I'm making the rounds all over Goodreads trying to raise support for my new novel in The Phoenician Series, to be called Man Made Man. It's a Classic SciFi and like the other stories in the series, has a little bit of mystery in the plot as well as a sexy little tangent into romantic subplots - but the main story is a SciFi story.

MAN MADE MAN:
Raif's a Proctor and the first rule a Proctor learns is that Proctors don't think; they follow orders. But Raif can't stop thinking. He's different and he knows it. He was made differently. He's an aberration--or a mutation, no telling which--but he's not a mistake. His design was crafted with care. This kind of work took a lot of money. And time. And other resources. Who on the planet would have that kind of access and why would they have used it to make him like this? What's he supposed to be if not a Proctor?

I'm currently running a Kickstarter (at http://kck.st/RaifStory) for the new novel. I'm cartooning new cover art myself (first cartoon I've done in 30+ years!)




Without advance orders (pledges to back the Kickstarter), I won't be able to pay the editing and other release costs for the new novel this year but hopefully I can get the project funded in the next 3 weeks. I just started trying to raise money to fund the book this past weekend but I've been writing new material like crazy. That's all the easy part. The time-consuming, expensive part is getting the book as polished and well-edited as the first two!

His quest to find his true purpose in life intersects the secret agenda of his Councillor, Shayla, the first and only Phoenician to live among the humans.

Both are available in all popular formats at Smashwords. The first is a novella that'll take you only an hour or two to read and it has the whole first chapter of the second story included at the end for free. The second is a LONG novel but it reads quickly also (so I'm told).
