Okay, so I'm a rabid fan and have a ton of questions...Hope that's okay!

1. What was your inspiration for the Dark Waters series?
2. Are the characters Luke and Bres based on people you actually know in real life?
3. You've said that family is very important to you - do you have a sister(s) as well? If so, was she (they) the inspiration for Quinn and Ashling's personalities?
4. What sort of research did you have to do to write this book since it has strong Celtic ties/myths in it?

Does anyone have any questions about my personal favorite, The Nevermore Trilogy??

I wish I did have q's for The Nevermore Trilogy but I haven't read it yet. Is that one a horror or another fantasy? I have to admit I'm not a fan of horror stories, but if it's fantasy written by Shannon, I'll so read it!

Oh I see/remember now. I didn't realize that "Sundered" "Bound" and "Dauntless" were "The Nevermore Trilogy" specifically. (I should have but..I forgot! LOL)

So, I 'want' to read it but...Okay, I'll admit, I is scared! lol

It's not scary Anastasia...it's actually a Romantic Thriller. I promise. The covers make it look scary-but it's really not. It's not a typical zombie story, that's why it's called a zombie-ISH apocalypse! It's a great series....each book is pretty short, but you HAVE to read them in order and you'll want to have them all because you won't want to stop in between. lol It's a GREAT love story!!!

Yea, I'm reading the reviews and stuff right now! :) I'll definitely give them a looksie but not sure I can get them all read by the end of this "ask Shannon" thing but...we'll see!

when you were writing the nevermore series what made you think of a world wide injection that would cause such devastion? and what was your inspiration for "scout" and when will the next book in this series come out.

How did you come up with the idea of Alex? What was your inspiration for him? Does Rylee ever find another like him, maybe a female? Or have you thought that far ahead? I don't know why I'm so enamoured (?) with Alex. Maybe he's my ideal man, well, except for the wolf part. LOL

What made u use the word "Shee-it", in Tracker? That's typically a Black thing & I laughed till I had tears in my eyes, after reading that.

How and what inspires when it came to the character of Alex?

Shannon, so my mind has been working over time lol I keep wondering if while Rylee is away, that her Mom might need protection from bein exposed to Rylees world... could imagine Pam an Alex tryin to protect her. Has that crossed your mind? ;)
